In art class, we were attaching pieces of clay together using the "scoring" process. tu just scratch into the clay with a needle, and the two pieces stick together. Anyway, my friend was quite alarmed that hers weren't. I looked at them and realized the scratches were very light and neat, which is the exact opposite of the desired.
