Well, I was on the TDI blog yesterday.
Total Drama Island has over a million and a half veiwers- in the US alone. Just imagine how many worldwide.
Because of this, Cartoon Network is doing 2 things.
1. Merchandising Total Drama Island
2. Coming out with a season 1 DVD

I don't got details about the merchandising, but the DVD is coming out on August 18, and you can pre-order it on amazon.com.
