What did tu think of the movie compared with other period drama films?

It`s más lighthearted and optimistic than many and I like it. Jane Austen adaptations can be sometimes boring for me (sorry fans!!!) and AC is always funny and moving, somehow emotional. The characters are not that much concerned about public opinion as in many period movies. I think in Ireland they were not that stiff as in England.
