Why do people call girls\woman a Thot? I find that very disrespectful to females.

Yeah I don't know either but it's one reason I don't listen to American rap because lots of the música are very disrespectful towards women calling them things like hoes o thots. ...and it yeah it can very rude, well at least to me I wouldn't like to be called any of those names even as a joke.

The term is not gender specific and can be attributable to both sexes. The word thot is used to describe specific type of people who hold specific type of characteristics. Just like the word "hoe" and "whore". tu can call men whores too. tu can call men whore's as much as tu want but it's meaningless because it doesn't hold the same weight in society because male whores are rarely seen in society. Men don't get women for sex as easily women get men because for some reason the thirst for women from men is más visible than for men from women. That’s why females usually mostrar off their body parts to earn money where males have a hard time earning money mostrando off body parts. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying it’s a fact o men can't earn money like that. It's just that social norms are like that from ancient time. But, that's just my theory to reason this issue and why it's like that. Personally, I see the word as a neutral word and only as a joke o meme purpose. Not all women are thots. This comentarios are specifically for specific person/girls. I don't take it so seriously since it has somewhat become a meme. But, I do agree that women o men both genders should be equally respected.

There's many people (males and females who use thots to describe themselves)..........look at the end of the day. It depends on what tu think is disrespectful and what tu don't. I don't think there's a clear cut wrong o right way to feel about this. I have my own personal opinion on the term but that is my general opinion.

"Thot" is actually a Non-gendered term, used to describe anyone, Male, Female ect.

The only reason most people joke about it is for the same reason people use the word "autistic" as an insult. The do that because they're assholes with no life. Not saying it's OK to insult people, no, but it does happen. And tu can't always stop it, they're everywhere.

Lol, that aside, Thot is a word. Each one could be used for a variety of intentions. It COULD be used to directly offend someone BUT not necessarily. It can serve as nothing más than a tease too. I can't say an insult is offensive, if I've never even heard of the word. No one's ever called me it and I have never heard anyone say it.

Insults toward men and boys=Acceptable, true, factual, and deserved.
Insults towards women and girls=Unacceptable, false, shameful, and offensive.

Women and girls=Perfect humans AND the perfect gender.
