I believe it can be removed once Voldemort is dead. The Dark Mark is some sort of calling code either from the Dark Lord to the Death Eaters o vice versa. Once Voldemort is dead I believe it becomes useless and maybe por using the Vanishing Spell I presume it disappears...correct me if I am wrong.

I read somewhere that it vanishes on it's own once Voldemort is dead. But leaves a scar. Thanks for answering though. It really helped!
The Dark Mark can't be removed because it was put onto a persons arm with powerful dark magic but after Voldemort dies, the dark mark fades into a scar.
