I wanted to do something creative for mulan month, and here it is. I though of making countdown for this, but I realized I would be very unhappy if the results don't turn out the way I want. If you, however, are interested in countdown, leave a comment.

I had really had time deciding which princess would be Mulan's favorito! so thank tu princeslullaby billion times for helping me sort things up. I tried to think the way mulan would, and to rank the princesses based on her values, I hope I did it good, if not, well, I'm sorry.

8.Aurora
Aurora and mulan are almost exact opposites. Aurora is just so girly, gentle, romantic, naive and rather passive, and mulan is ... not. I don't think mulan would particularly appreciate any of few Aurora's choices and deeds and she would probably find her boring.

7.Snow White
I really think mulan would like Snow White, she would amor her personality, but Snow White's action would probably seems silly to her. She certainly wouldn't understand Snow White's fearful personality and her satisfaction with ordinary domestic life and role of damsel in distress .

6.Cinderella
The reason why I think mulan would like cenicienta más than other classic princesses is that cenicienta seems strongest character out of them. She kept quite positive attitude considering hard life she had, she was very smart and she could could always subtle sort things to work for her.

5.Ariel
She would consider Ariel really fun person, probably amor how bubbly and sweet she is and esteem her determination and strength to follow only her dreams, and not care what others think. However it would probably bother her how she left her father and her family. Her father had good reasons to forbid her to go on surface, and had best intentions, but she just left.

4.Tiana
She is the person that mulan would just have to admire. Tiana is very strong and very focused on the things she wants. She'd amor how she wanted to honor her father so she worked hard, even though he is dead, and that would be something mulan would really amor about her. However, I think she just wouldn't consider Tiana funny and exciting enough to put her higher.

3.Jasmine
The reason why mulan would tolerate Jasmine's runaway más than Ariel's is because jazmín wasn't free. Freedom is thing people fight for. She was strong enough not to let people control her, something that probably mulan wishes she had strength for. She is very self-confident, very funny and really smart, and that's aspect of Jasmine's personality that mulan would just love.

2. Pocahontas
Pocahontas is fun, Valiente and beautiful both inside and outside, sounds quite like Mulan. Pocahontas is also one of the persons that had good relationship with her father and she loved her people, so much that she sacrificed her own happiness for them.

1.Belle
I think she could really relate to Belle. They are both outcast and a bit weird. Their behavior and way of thinking were quite scandalous in their small villages. She would like how lost Belle is, how she isn't satisfied with ordinary, boring life, how she sees beauty inside someone, and most of all her endless amor for her father and her selfless sacrificing in order to save him.

Welcome to the 2nd Princess Personality article! Like the anterior articulo about Belle's personality, this one about Snow White is still using the MBTI assessment.

SNOW WHITE IS...

1. Extraverted link

Extraverts often:
Have high energy
Talk más than listen
Think out loud
Act, then think
Like to be around people a lot
Prefer a public role
Can sometimes be easily distracted
Prefer to do lots of things at once
Are outgoing & enthusiastic

Although Snow White was without human companion under her stepmother's wicked rule, she had plenty of animal friends. In fact, Snow White was always surrounded...

Many people think mulan (the movie) has the best frases of all princess movie, that and the fact it is mulan mes gave me idea to start such countdown. In the beginning, there were about 70 frases I thought are important , I included about 40 in countdown and here are the best ten.

Out of these ten:
2 are from Shang
2 are from Fa Zhou
2 are from Emperor
and 4 are from Mulan

10. "Ping, tu are the craziest man I've ever met, and for that I owe tu my life. From now on, tu have my trust" by Shang

This is dicho after mulan saved Shang and finally earned honor and respect for her deeds.However...

Aladdin: So here we were, early 1990's, and the disney Renaissance was at its peek. The studios had produced two of the highest grossing animated films of all time and still were pushing on. However the team suffered a tragic loss with the death of lyricist Howard Ashman who surprisingly had had a large amount of creative input on the anterior two films. (He named Ariel) It was even his idea to make the siguiente disney animated feature, Aladdin released on November 25, 1992. However, much to the disappointment of many, this would be the last picture to showcase a royal fairytale princess for the...

Hello everybody, I just wanted to inform that this articulo is completely my personal option. There is absolutely no need to have a hissy fit if my opinion doesn’t conform to yours. Feel free to comentario what your own ranking is if tu wish. Anyways, let’s get on with this ranking.

#14 Merida

“I’m a boy with long hair.”
“I’m a boy with long hair.”

Merida is one of the most hideous animated females ever. She just screams ugly, unfeminine and manliness. She is the epitome of what’s wrong with strong female characters (or just females in general). Her head shape is hideous and makes her look...

Hi!
I'm a huge fan of Rick Riordan's books, and I thought this would be an interesting idea! First of all, let me explain tu a bit: there are 20 cabins in Camp Half-Blood, each of them belongs to a god, and their demigod children live in their respective cabins. For example, Percy Jackson belongs in cabina #3 because he's a son of Poseidon, and Annabeth Chase belongs to cabina #6 since her mother is Athena. The 20 cabins are:
#1 – Zeus (king of the gods)
#2 – Hera (goddess of marriage and fidelity)
#3 – Poseidon (god of the sea)
#4 – Demeter (goddess of nature)
#5 – Ares (god of war)
#6 –...

1. The outside of the palace is inspired por the Taj Mahal.

2. The word "Agra" is in the name Agrabah. Agra is a city in INDIA.

3. Rajah is a tiger. tigres are a symbol of INDIA.

4. Lotus fountains (like the one we see when we're first introduced to Jasmine) are an Indian thing.

5. "Abu" is an Indian name.

People complaining about Naomi being cast as jazmín because she's Indian need to educate themselves.

If tu want a version of aladdín with jazmín being played por a Middle Eastern woman, then major in film and get a film degree. It's not Disney's job to please you.

As for the people complaining...

A fair number of disney Princess DVDs were released in the early 2000's, and the series I'm most familiar with is the Princess Party line. To my knowledge, there were just two installments, both of which I apparently still own! These DVDs feature disney Princess-related games, activities, and stories with the goal of helping to create a memorable DP-themed party for young girls. I first rented this disk from Blockbuster about a decade hace just to check out the games, so I have a bit of nostalgia for it. But how well does the content on the DVD hold up? Let's take a look!

DVD Features

Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Greetings! I'm ApplesauceDoctr, and today I present my fourth song analysis. This time though (somewhat similar to my "Reflection" analysis), I'll be comparing two songs -- "So This is Love" and "Dancing on a Cloud," both of which come from Disney's Cinderella. "Dancing on a Cloud," the deleted song, was written with the intent of doing what "So This is Love" later did -- to mostrar how cenicienta and the prince fell in amor with each other at the ball. While the two seem similar at first, further examination shows that the two are a bit different, and it gives a better understanding of why "Dancing...

 The good ol' baddies
The good ol' baddies
Well, it's time for another articulo here in Scarletland! I admit, I had this need for wanting to make another articulo again, but I didn't know of what subject to make of. Then browsing around the Internet, the inspiration struck me: I could write about disney villains! Genius! Because that subject isn't trite and overdone at all! (/sarcasm)

Jokes aside, I've been these last days thinking and analyzing the disney villains más than usual (that is; I almost never think about them, so this was really unusual for me). Villains are essential for many of these movies, because if it weren't for them...

Saw an old pregunta publicado from a año hace that inspired me to write this. The pregunta was about which disney Princesses might make best friends, in pairs, based on commonalities. As I started to think about it, I found all of the commonalities to be quite interesting. So I decided to post my findings of commonalities (not go for the BFF route) just because I found it interesting what the princesses had so much in common. Hope tu guys do too:

Snow & Aurora:
Both were royal but fled to the forest to escape their villains. Both were put under a sleeping spell. Both like to dance and initiate...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this articulo ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in popular culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...
