14- Merida

I m not really a fan of her personality in her movie. There are definitely things that i find appealing with her she really does have a badass side , with her arrow , but at the same time there are things about her personality less appealing. I can't say I dislike her o hate her I m just neutral towards her and her movie. Also i m not gonna lied...

Remember those great romantic moments that were imbued with pure disney magic and have since become timeless keepsakes: how we got to experience amor at 1st sight with cenicienta as she waltzed away with Prince Charming while blessed por a starry nightscape; the anticipation we held on to when Prince Eric leaned in to kiss Ariel as they floated along a spellbinding lagoon; the way Lady's eyes gleamed under the Bella Notte as Tramp gazed into them over a candlelit espaguetis, espagueti cena for two; how our breathes were taken as Eugene finally saw Rapunzel surrounded por the lanterns of her dreams on...

Snow White: 16th Century Germany
Though the movie never explains where they take place, it is dicho to be set there since it was based off the Brother’s Grimm.

Cinderella: 19th Century France
Disney’s first film ever set in France though not explicitly. Evidence is that the words like ‘mademoiselle’ ‘Château’ and Tremaine is a French surname.

Sleeping Beauty (Sleeping Beauty): Most likely Late 14th Century France
While some people argue that it’s set in either England o Germany, the movie NEVER explains where they took place though I have many evidence why it was believed to be...

Hi!
In this articulo I will be posting which Princess do I relate to the most. This took a few days and it was extremely hard to do but I think it's accurate for me. Since I'm a guy, I relate mostly to their personalities and relationships with their families. Hope tu enjoy lectura it! ^^

#12 – Tiana
Similarities:
I have big dreams; I think I'm quite good at cooking too. But other than that, zero in common.
Differences: Her relationship with both of her parents is better than mine. I'm más romantic and not as amargo, amargos as her when it comes to finding love. I don't think it all depends on...

 Accidental Discrimination?
Accidental Discrimination?
Okay, so the más I think about this, the más it starts to bother me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall any disney Princesses having green eyes. What's up with that?!

Snow White: brown
Cinderella: blue
Aurora: blue
Ariel: blue
Belle: brown
Jasmine: brown
Pocahontas: brown
Mulan: brown
I think Tiana's eyes are brown too.

Even the majority of Disney's other leading ladies don't have jade-coloured peepers. I'm pretty sure Tarzan's Jane has blue eyes, as does Giselle in Enchanted. So do Alice (in Wonderland) and Peter Pan's Wendy! I can't really tell what colour Megara's eyes are in Hercules (blue...

Seriously, if these three were princesses they'd be #1
Seriously, if these three were princesses they'd be #1
Oh my god! This is literally the hardest countdown I've ever done! I did this lista awhile back and my opinion has changed radically on all the princesses. With my favourites list, one princess moved, with this lista they've all changed places, I used math to help me rank them and I was surprised, especially por my #8. I gave each of them scores of 1-10 for three different areas, face, body and hair. Then added it up. No one got 30 as their final score. Funny enough, even though they're princesses, none of them are perfect. To be honest I'm only sure about my parte superior, arriba two, this lista could change again...

disney has encantada us for decades with its beautiful, canto heroines.
Disney has enchanted us for decades with its beautiful, singing heroines.
As many of us know, Disney Princesses are not always viewed in a positive light. Some people believe them to be passive, codependent damsels in distress. But is this really true? o does each Princess offer a kind of strength in her own way? Here, I have carefully ranked the princesses in terms of being good role modelos for young girls. We'll start at the bottom of the lista so we can work our way towards, in my opinion, disney Princess' best role model. I have spoken to plenty of parents to make sure that I have diverse research and opinions.

9. Aurora

The third disney princess to ever...

Even though all the princesses are pretty and attractive, one is just abit hotter than the next. So let's get started.

10.Rapunzel
I don't know if it has anything to do with the 3D animación but I just don't find Rapunzel hot. She looks an 11 año old and she's supposed to be 18. And her face isn't all that great either, her eyes are too freaking large.

9.Snow White
I guess we're not to supposed to find Snow White hot. She is only 14 but she looks a little older than that. Probably because she looks so tall compared to the dwarves. She's too cute and baby like to be hot. I like her...

10. Megara - Hercules

She is drawn in a very specific, edgy style to fit in with her film's animación but still, Meg has beautiful purple eyes, pouty rosado, rosa lips and gorgeous brunette curls. I find her quite beautiful although her body is the single most unrealistic which is forgivable since it's one of the cartoonier films.

9. mulan

One of my all-time favourite disney characters, she is never one to parte superior, arriba the beauty lists. But I actually find her to be quite lovely. Simple but at the start of the film she has gorgeous hair. Of course the designers had to make it believable that she could...

Part 1
As tu may already of noticed I am a bit of a fan of the disney Princesses and their films. One aspect about these films that I find really interesting is the kingdoms in which their stories take place, including the buildings and the general surroundings. So I decided to write an articulo discussing each Princesses kingdom. In this articulo I am looking at Walt Disney's princesses ie. the original three.

Aladdin: So here we were, early 1990's, and the disney Renaissance was at its peek. The studios had produced two of the highest grossing animated films of all time and still were pushing on. However the team suffered a tragic loss with the death of lyricist Howard Ashman who surprisingly had had a large amount of creative input on the anterior two films. (He named Ariel) It was even his idea to make the siguiente disney animated feature, Aladdin released on November 25, 1992. However, much to the disappointment of many, this would be the last picture to showcase a royal fairytale princess for the...

If the disney Princesses were Housewives on Wisteria Lane, which house would be theirs? [If tu are a Desperate Housewives fan, I included who lived there from the mostrar if anyone did.]

1. Snow White: 4350

This house is a nice beige color, between white (her skin) and yellow (her skirt). It has a gazebo style balcony that fits perfectly for her and her prince to dance around and sing to each other in. [Martha Huber/Felicia Tillman/Andrew VandeKamp]

2. Cinderella: 4354

This house is a beautiful big blue house, just like her beautiful big blue(ish) dress. It's like a palace but still with...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this articulo ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in popular culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...

This is a series I'm starting, I did some research, I'm not gonna say I was 100% thorough, and tried my best with each princess. Some of them were easy, some were harder than others. I won't talk about Anna and Elsa because 1. I hate to say it but it's hard to pin Elsa anywhere and 2. The less princesses to write about, the easier for me. Let's go.

Snow White-Earth
She was difficult because she shows aspect of water, fuego and earth. Ultimately I went with the latter, Snow White is motherly, practical and the most grounded classic princess. She's doesn't have her mind in the clouds as much....

This is basically Elsa's character in a nutshell.I can relate to those words easily.
Elsa is without a doubt my favorito! disney character ever because she's the one I related the most out of all the disney characters out there.Let's get into más detail why I amor her so much, shall we ;):

Originally,I didn't amor Elsa that much,I thought she was okay and felt neutral about her. That is until I re-watched the movie 2 months hace and from that día on,I realized just how much I have in common with her.
It was like I was seeing myself in her,for me that meant so much, and I'm thankful for that.
tu see,my mom told me to hold back my emotions at school because I have big anger issues...

Why don't they sell princess dresses like these? I'd buy the heck out of these!
Why don't they sell princess dresses like these? I'd buy the heck out of these!
Since it's Veteran's Day, I thought I'd use some rare time off to write an article. The only articulo idea I could think of that wouldn't take all día to research and explore would be a lista of princess "peasant" dresses rated in order from the ones I like least to the one I'm seriously considering commissioning my Ren Faire friends to sew for me.

Most people seem to amor the princesses' fancy, sparkly, poofy ballgowns, o their iconic princess dresses. I personally was never a fan. I'm a real stickler for comfort and practicality. Ballgowns tend to be made with a material I find uncomfortable...

Well, I did link, and now it's time to mover on to a new subject, noses. Some disney Princesses have regular noses, some have noses that look good with their face, and some have a weirdly shaped, o poorly drawn nose. Keep in mind that this is my opinion, so respect my opinion and I'll respect yours. Enjoy the article! :)

13. Jasmine

I'm not a huge fan of Jasmine's looks in the first place, but her nose is definitely the worst of all the disney Princesses! It's huge and hideous! It looks weird and if tu stare at it, it basically takes all the beauty that tu see on her off her face. I hate...

For such a successful and expensive film, Frozen's complete lack of diversity (particularly ethnic diversity) really vexed me. frozen has four main human characters and out of the four:
- Four are white
- Four are all apparently straight
- Three are blonde
Looking at this, tu can tell there is very little variation in Frozen's main cast. In ethnic terms, there really is no excuse of this. frozen needed más POC.

I have heard one main argument (read: excuse) why frozen didn't have any racially diverse characters (and no: I am not counting black background characters). Some say that Frozen...

Yes, I’m back with another public poll. This time: the Kindest disney Princess. This lista is a combination of votes, comments, and my own opinion (as I didn’t really get enough votos for a clear ranking).

13. Merida
I’m usually the person defending Merida, honestly I am. I HATE it when people call her spoiled and an unworthy disney princess. However, while she is not a brat, she’s not exactly the kindest girl ever. She’s harsh about her suitors, she says some unforgivable things to her mum and she often does things that could be described as selfish. No matter how much I amor her,...

You'll notice that characters created around the same time as each other tend to share traits that are popular at the time o big with the artist/director/etc who works with them.

However, I'm not here to talk about personalities. Those have already been covered por many interesting authors who explore the topics far más effectively than I could. What I want to talk about is common overarching themes I have noticed in each generation of princesses.

Classic Princesses

A common theme with the first three disney princesses (Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora) I think is maintaining hope and optimism...
