I started this articulo "series" almost a año ago, but abandoned my fandoms for a while (very sorry to the people who were looking adelante, hacia adelante to it), but now I'm back and want to continue the artículos (hopefully consistently), please enjoy!

If any of tu are familiar with character stylization o really art in general tu might like this article. I'm talking about character stylization in the sense that when the artist is also the autor of the character's personality and has written out their every thought in simply the way they are designed. This can also be called "interpreted art" as anyone can perceive it differently, but a common factor still remains that everyone agrees on. BASICALLY I'm going to "guess" what the princess' personality is like based on the way she's drawn, see what the general consensus is on her personality is and compare it to the artist's (strictly NOT the writer o director's) original idea of what they wanted the princess to come off as. And if this is at all interesting to tu tu can look up this with different artists por searching it as "the artist's definition of (their work)" and maybe tu can find this with other characters.

P.S I know I had to do a lot of digging on the older movies, because of the lack of documentation, so good luck on the ones post 1980's!

Cinderella -- Cinderella

At this point in time disney had established itself as a beloved children's animación studio, however the studio was bankrupt at the time with Cinderella, seemingly, about to be the last animated feature to come out, because of this Cinderella's staff, especially animators, were low-budget. Eventually the honor of Cinderella's diseño (influenced por Mary Blair's artwork) was bestowed upon Marc Davis with Eric Larson and Les Clark as supervising animators.

Davis mostrando Ilene Woods the finals for Cinderella

Walt disney had chosen Marc Davis specifically, because Mary Blair's art suggested softer lines and Davis was someone he new was very good with making soft characters, mostly do to his anterior creations like Bambi and Katrina camioneta, van Tassel. In fact, around the studio he mostly animated animales and cenicienta was his segundo time animating a human character (with Alice, Aurora and campanita soon to come).

Davis' favorito! concept piece

Marc Davis was very fond of the "simple country girl" aspect for her design, but he wanted aspects of her to be beautiful to "really offset the ugliness of the step-sisters."
In many early concepts of cenicienta she has hardly any features in attempt to match the Mary Blair art style, but eventually she started gaining más detailed features with Davis favoring the sketches in which she had two plats on each side of her head.

Of course the live-action reference model had a lot to do with how Cinderella's hair and outfits eventually turned out, in fact disney himself liked the model's style and actuación for reference and wanted her image nearly copied; However Davis didn't much care for her structure and designed cenicienta por her voice actor instead of the model.

The pregunta is: Does her finale form encompass the feeling the animator wanted for her character?

All in all I believe what he was trying to convey with Cinderella's looks is almost a chic country southern campana type of look, but covered with a messy and simple exterior, keeping her face light and regal, but still hinting that she sweats and works hard. The mental image I get in my head is Snow White with messy ponytails and dirt on her face, but still naturally pretty. Personality-wise I feel it'd be closer to Jessie from Toy Story o Danielle from Ever After, which cenicienta doesn't really have since it's much closer to Snow White.

Based on what I got from what he dicho and his concept art I feel like she turned out a bit too clean-cut and graceful like Belle. I think the "natural beauty" is definitely there seeing as cenicienta wears no make-up with no harsh lines o accessories, but I feel that the "country" aspect is lost, she doesn't really look too "girl" like o "on the ranch," instead she actually leans más towards a más mature and graceful look.

Cinderella's outfit, though is very true to form it's simple and maid-like and looks like she takes care of all of the work and spends time in the farm, the fact that it isn't very flattering brings out the beauty beneath the rags which is definitely Davis' vision (and of course the theme of Cinderella). I do think it's a bit too maid-like though, and isn't something like an outdoor stable-hand outfit, (or closer to a milk-maid look) instead it gives me a 1940's housewife vibe.

I think his concepts can definitely be seen in the final product, but, for me, I don't think it fully encompasses what he was going for especially since his contribution to this version of cenicienta was going to be a más "simple country girl" type, which instead comes across as a similar "regal dainty southern bell."

So what do tu think; does cenicienta perfectly embody what tu think her animator was going for, o do tu think she's way off? Do tu agree with me? Would tu have preferred the animator's original idea o what she turned out like? Tell me what you're thinking in the comments, especially tell me if you'd like to see más (since I started this so long ago).

I was inspired por the 2013 pop songs for disney character article, so I decided to make an articulo similar to that except for most of these songs aren't 2013 pop songs and I used songs that I actually liked. I apologize if my choices for songs were pretty bad and my explanations sucked, but I really couldn't think of any other songs that I loved that matched these characters. Anyway tell me what tu think of the songs por commenting below!

Snow White: mariposa por Smile dk

Let's start with Snow White. I think this song fits her perfectly. Its happy and optimistic just like Snow White is full...

Snow White & The 7 Dwarfs:

I really amor the ending of this movie, it's my favorito! movie scene of all time. The scene makes me emotional everytime I watch it not only because of all the emotions shown in the scene, but also because this scene is so beautifully drawn especially the very end when Snow White & Prince ride off into the sunset and we see the Prince's castle, also my two favorito! songs from the movie are heard again here

The fans have voted, and princesslullaby won por a landslide! Here is our first interview with one of the many great fans on this spot.

1. Congrats on being the first ever disney Princess fan of the Month! How do tu feel?
Really flattered and honored! It's nice to know my hard work on this site is being appreciated. ;)

2. Who are your parte superior, arriba 3 princesses, and why?
Oh god....well, at the moment they're Ariel, Belle, and Pocahontas, but I haven't really watched some of the cine in a while so it's tentative. But Ariel will always be number one!

3. Name your favorite:

In the 90s, disney was going for something different in their leading ladies. They wanted heroines who were COMPLEX, women who were INTERESTING, and they were determined to give (most of) the princesses realistic, believable, and unashamed flaws. These princesses were supposed to be relatable and a lady a normal girl could identify with. Perhaps this is why these princesses are generally preferred to the classics. These princesses had obvious dimensions to their personalities, and all were made to seem like a girl tu could run in to on the street.

The disney Renaissance, one if the most successful times for WDAS from the late 80s to the late 90s (or to some people, the mid 90s).
 (1989-1999)
(1989-1999)

 (1989-1994)
(1989-1994)

This era is known for its amazing musicals, parte superior, arriba notch hand drawn animación using the computer, many awards, and great critical and financial success (most of them), and the movie that is known to start this fantastic era is The Little Mermaid, which I think gets too much credit for starting the Renaissance, and I know many will disagree, but hear me out.

The disney Renaissance was the time where a lot of money was made, which...

This is the first countdown that I have successfully completed in months, and this was an interesting concept. Thanks to everyone who participated in the countdown. Some films will age forever (or for hundreds of years), while some will die out in a decade.

Timeless:1. unaffected o unchanged por time; ageless
2. eternal

11. Aladdin

This one was the obvious first choice, and to be honest, is the only film that is not timeless out of the bunch. This film was praised especially for the cultura pop references coming from Genie but 20 years later, it is working to it's disadvantage. A lot of the...

Mandarin Oriental Hotel and the twin tower.
After all of the princesses and Dee Dee are enjoying their lunch at a Nyonya Restaurant, suddenly everything goes black and they become scared. " What was that?" asked Merida, trying not to sound scared. Then, a black, giant smoke appears in the middle and it forms into a black reaper-like figure.
"So tu have arrive in Malaysia now, I'll curse the whole of the country into darkness and despair with the help of my friend, Jafar!" It lets out an evil laughter and disappears, then everything goes back to normal.
"Who was that?" asks Dee Dee, "that is the spirit of despair!" replied Cinderella,...

I just wanted to write a lista but I remembered that I have already write one with the Prettiest Female Heroines in the Childhood Animated Movie Heroines club (the link is at the comments). I didn't want to write the same things about the same princesses, so I'll mention only the princesses that I don't think they are so beautiful. Let's begin.

Anna
Placement in my Prettiest disney Princess List: 13th

Sorry Anna! I just don't find her so pretty. I don't like her nose and her lips are too thin. I like her eyes, their color is amazing, but sometimes they look kinda odd, like they're too close...

Here's my countdown of my favorito! princesses!

My decisions aren't set in stone- they change every other week! So, this isn't permanent- except for the lucky princess who estola first place! ;)

"I like that Tiana brings in variation to the line up."
"I like that Tiana brings in variation to the line up."

10. Tiana
I like that Tiana brings in variation to the line up. I amor her- she has a strong determination, she's smart and she does have a little humour in her. Her loyalty to her father is so sweet, she never gives up on her father's dream :') The movie just goes downhill for me when she turns into a frog, it goes downhill- she loses...

Fun fact: My favorite dress of Tiana's is her orange one!
So, about three months hace I made an articulo talking about why I amor Aurora, and thought I should do an articulo for another underrated princess, Tiana. I also plan on doing an articulo for Snow, Punz, Poca, Mulan, and possibly some others.

While Tiana has gained a giant boost in popularity recently, in both looks and favorites, she is still very underrated. Tiana is probably one of the most unique princesses and definitely one of the most inspirational. I look up to Tiana, because unlike Mulan, I'm not going to be fighting in a war, and Tiana shows us a slice of reality. She's just a normal...

So I did a countdown of who would be most likely to survive in the abusive type of households Snow White and cenicienta had lived in. I must say I'm disappointed más people didn't participate (well, at least 28 people VOTED every round, yet there was usually no más than 7 comentarios per poll). I would have loved to see más people's input because the whole reason I did this countdown is because I am so sick of people actuación like Snow and Cinderella's situations were not all that bad, like they could have just left easily. Anyway, here are the results:

9. Jasmine. Well, to nobody's surprise,...

I know that this is common on this site, but I feel like my disney Princess ranking is a must. Merida, Anna and Elsa are included, and I don't usually see them being include in these.
To make things clear, there are times where I like every disney princess. I dislike one, am okay with two, really like four, and absolutely adore six.
I try to balance out my descriptions. I tried to talk about the characters' good qualities because I just hate it when tu read rankings that just sound like complaints, but I had to address their flaws as well so that readers could understand my reasoning.

I saw sweetie-94 recently do this and thought it looked fun, so I decided to make an articulo like this as well. I fully intended to have this be ranked, but it was way too hard, so I just opted out to chronological order. So, yeah let's get started!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: One Song

I amor this song a lot! Snow White's Prince has the best voices of all the princes, and the entire scene is very romantic and heart-felt. I amor how Snow is all bashful and trying to look good for the prince, and the little kiss they do with the bird at the end.
