They look creepy for most of the movie. I'm jealous of her lashes though and the dark eye shadow really suits her.
The color is pretty but my main grip with Merida's eyes is that they appear to have no lashes. I don't mind so much in real life but I think all animated female characters should have apparent eyelashes, whether individual o multiple.
Some people say she has such soulful eyes but I don't really see it, they look a bit lifeless and dead to me. I wish her eyes would display más emotion.
I think they make her look a bit psychotic at times. Which is a shame because purple is such a rare and gorgeous eye color. I also don't like the fact that they often change color.
The cat-eye shape is too exaggerated, I agree that it makes her look like an alien at times. But hey, she somehow manages to pull it off. I think they would look weird on most people. Although there are moments when they look gorgeous and sensual, just like her! So it really depends with Jasmine.

Who doesn't like hazel eyes? tu get the best of both worlds since they look like a mixture of brown and hazel. The almendra shape and the thick lashes are also really pretty.

I have a friend who has the most gorgeous icy blue eyes, they look like a wolf's eyes.
