"Father," The beautiful young princess said. "Don't put the wrong idea in their head." Three little boys looked up at her with sad eyes.
"Oh Lizzie," her father said. "A little magic never hurt anyone. Now boys, on with my story. The flor has never been seen but maybe one day, one of tu will find it."
"Really Papa?" Asked the middle boy who was about seven o eight asked.
"Of course. Now it's time to go to bed."
"Awwww" All three boys wined, but their father gave them a stern glance and they all hopped into bed. The king then followed his eldest daughter into the hall.
"Father, why would tu lie to them?"
"Elizabeth, it is possible that this flor exists but it's supposedly far away near Corona. And besides they're still young, they can dream."
Princess Elizabeth was siguiente in line to the trono of Bayern since she was the crown princess. She mostly looked like her mother but she had the eyes of her father. Her younger brothers would one día marry princesses from other kingdoms. The king loved his daughter but she was very serious and skeptical like her mother.
"And besides tu need to lighten up a little."
They had made it to Elizabeth's room and he pushed the door open for his daughter.
"I guess you're right, father." she sighed.
He smiled at his sweet little girl and dicho "I know so," and blew out the candle in her room. She thought about what he had dicho but decided to blow it off. The last thing she thought about before she fell asleep was that magic flower.

When she woke up in the morning sunlight was streaming into her bedroom. She got dressed and went down to the dining room. Sitting there was her mother looking over an official looking document but her father and brothers were nowhere to be found.
"Mother where are-"
"Your father is in the observatory. Ethan and Michael are at their lessons and Thomas is with the nursemaid." the queen replied curtly without even looking up. "You woke up late. A princess is never late."
"Father says everyone else is simply early."
"Well he is king. tu are the princess and have important duties to fulfill. And stop slouching. It's unbecoming." Elizabeth had never had a good relationship with her mother. She could remember when she was younger she was playing with her doll on the floor and her mother just gave her that glance where tu can just tell. It was never the same again for Beth.
"Your first lesson is at ten thirty so tu still have an hora to prepare."
"Thank tu mother." Elizabeth curtsied and grabbed a bollo, scone off of the mesa, tabla and ran off before her mother could say anything else.

Her father's observatorio had to be Elizabeth's favorito! place in the whole palace. It was the only place her mother wouldn't go and it was her and her father's special place. It was a place her mother never went and where Elizabeth could be herself. Her father was always working hard to advance the technology of Bayern and it always intrigued her to see what he was working on. Lately he had been trying to work on a type of flying contraption. He dicho it would advance the way people traveled. He was explaining it to Elizabeth when she said,
"Father why I am I never good enough for mother?"
The king stopped for a moment and looked up kindly into her eyes taking in a deep breath.
"Well Lizzy, I'm not quite sure, but I amor tu and your are an amazing girl that will one día make an amazing queen. She is certainly missing something."
"Oh father, are tu sure?"
Then the clock started to ring ten times for it was almost ten o'clock.
"Now go Lizzie. If your mother finds out tu were late again to your lessons tu will be in big trouble."
Lizzie started to leave the room. She knew if she was late it wouldn't be pretty.
"Wait Lizzie."
Lizzie spun around quickly. "Yes?"
"Come to the stable this afternoon after your lessons and we can go riding in the gardens"
"Ok Papa"
Elizabeth knew her lessons were going to be unbearable but knowing that at the end of the día she would have time to spend with her father made it a little más bearable.
