Well, what were our Valiente heroines and heroes without their friends? They would be forced to provide the comic relief themselves. Not that some of them wouldn’t be able to step up to the challenge (*cough* Flynn* cough*), but as a general rule, it’s the sidekicks who provide the laughter.
Pocahontas is not listed in this category. I considered adding “Percy’s bath”, but since the score is very short, it wouldn’t have been fair.

9. Princess and the Frog: I have my problems with most of the songs of this movie, but “Gonna take tu there” might be the worst of all of them. There is nothing I like about this one. Not the text, not the tune. I think that’s the only song in all the cine of which I really dislike every minuto of. Normally I’m más “good, but not as good as…” o “it could have been good if…” but this is más along the “I don’t want to hear it again” line.

Fanpop says: The voting for this category was very even, save for the best and the worst song. And yes, I’m in the trend here, this was the looser por scoring nearly half of the votes. Didn’t get a best-vote either. “Just a Meh-Song”(ellie53)

8. Aladdin: “Friend like me” is a fun song, it’s a good song – but really, it adds siguiente to nothing to the movie. All the explanations about the rules of Genie’s magic are done before o after the song. The only thing it does is giving the animators the opportunity to play around. And for a song which is sung “just for fun”, it’s a little bit too long.

Fanpop says: Nobody considered it as the worst of the bunch, and it got some best votes, so I suspect, it would be higher on most of the other lists.

7. Cinderella: I like “The Work Song”, maybe because the mice are a little bit less squeaky in the German version of it, maybe because of nostalgia. But I have to admit that the text isn’t really creative – it’s mostly about the mice canto what they are doing the very moment. But at least, it’s short and to the point. And it adds to the plot, since it's basically about the mice realizing the plan of Lady Tremaine and their decision to help Cinderella.

Fanpop says: Milky-way was very emphatic about this one: “I. HATE. THIS. SONG. AND. THEIR. ANNOYING. SQUEAKY. LITTLE. VOICES.” But overall, it was mostly in the middle, like all the other songs.

6. Beauty and the Beast: There has been some talk recently about the pregunta if “Be our Guest” is overrated o not. So it might be better to put up a disclaimer here: I adore the scene in which the song is played, and if I should decide to watch “Beauty and the Beast” in 3D, than it would be because I want to see it on the big screen again. Not the ballroom scene, not the transformation, just the dancing tableware. I think it’s a great tune, but I think that of nearly all disney songs, especially those in disney movies. In the end, the decision is down to the content of the song. And while there are a lot of hints about the suffering of the serving staff during the years under the curse, it’s mostly about eating and serving, and it has siguiente to no bearing to the plot of the movie.

Fanpop says: This was the runner-up for the best, but as I mentioned before, the voting for the middle was very close together. I suspect it would be higher on most lists, but nobody really comentó on it.

5. Tangled: I had a really hard time to judge the “Thugs Song”, and not just because it’s más a “side character” than a “side-kick” song, considering that Pascal is the true sidekick in this movie. The thing is: The whole scene in the “Ugly Duckling” is one of the funniest I have ever seen. It’s so unexpected that a group of thugs would suddenly start canto about their dreams (especially if dicho dreams involve being a florist o an interior designer). But what throws this scene really out of the ballpark are Flynn’s and Pascal’s “Are tu serious?” expressions. Normally everyone is canto and dancing enthusiastically in a disney movie, but if this happened to me in real life, I think I would look exactly like Flynn (and then I would registrarse in). Considering how much I amor this sequence, I had a really hard time to look at the song itself without having the whole situation in mind. But I think the content hold up slightly better than the one of “Be our Guest” (keep in mind that I amor the tableware dance just as much). It’s about not judging people based on the way they look, that there might be hidden talents were nobody expects them. It also ties in nicely with the “second chances” theme which is going on in this movie. And it adds to the plot, since the thugs are needed later on to free Flynn.

Fanpop says: That on the other hand was the runner-up for the worst, so I suspect, most people would disagree with me for placing it over “Be our Guest”. But again, nobody really comentó on it.

4. Sleeping Beauty: Technically there isn’t a sidekick song in “Sleeping Beauty”. But there is a theme that gets played every time the hadas turn up (though, calling the hadas sidekicks is misleading, the are sidecharacters at the worst, the protagonists at the best]. It’s most prominent in “Magical House Cleaning/Blue o Pink”, the sequence during the scene in which the hadas are preparing Briar Rose birthday party, the scene which results in Aurora getting discovered. It’s a very memorable tune, I just have to hear a few notes of it and I automatically think about the hadas – something no other song on this lista accomplishes.

Fanpop says: Nothing, since I didn’t put the score up to vote. I didn’t think that it would be very productive, considering that people tend to remember songs más than scores, or, más precisely, they tend to remember the título of songs más than the título of score pieces. Some of my later picks, in which I did mix songs and scores, showed that I was right about that.

3. Snow White: “Heigh-Ho” was originally más towards the bottom of this list. Then I reconsidered it a couple of times, and it slowly etched its way to the top, until it ended up here. Yes, I know, this isn’t one of those songs most people would sing just for fun. But it’s very, very well done. How the sound of the digging starts the dwarves canto about their work, introducing themselves short and to the point (although the fact that they don’t even know why they are digging is a little bit odd), and the way they do the transition to the “Heigh-Ho” part. The segundo part of the song isn’t very exciting, considering the lack of actual text, but it builds up the anticipation about the home-coming of the dwarves very well.

Fanpop says: Yeah, I repeat myself here, but again, another one of those middle songs nobody had to say anything about. It looks like most of those songs are más o less on the same level. “Every single one is amazing. Under the Sea, Be Our Guest, Friend Like Me, The Work Song, & Heigh-Ho are my other parte superior, arriba ones...very difficult...”(fishypup)

2. Mulan: Adding “A girl worth fighting for” on this lista is a little bit of a stretch, since Mulan’s official sidekicks are Mushu and Cri-Kee, but “Mulan” is somewhat a special case since the songs in this movie are a little bit unusual, and I really don’t want to judge all of them in the same category, so oso, oso de with me. Ever noticed that every single song in this movie is about gender roles? This is the “what want the male side-characters from a woman”-song (it’s somewhat interesting that Shang is the only one who doesn’t voice his preference). But the main reason it’s so high on the lista is the placing in the movie. The way is suddenly breaks up and the mood goes from a cheerful atmosphere to the destroyed village, really drives across the tragic of what happened to the people living there. Although the audience already knew about Shan Yu plans, this comes so unexpected, that it has a much bigger impact than it would have if they just had discovered the village in a normal way. Another plus for the song is the fact that it doesn’t slow down the movie at all, quite the opposite. It works very well to cover the passage of time from the training camp to the actual battlefield.

Fanpop says: Judging por the voting, this one had a tendency to the más beloved ones. “yet the only girl that amor him is his mother xp haha hillarious.really amor it!”(PociandSmith)

1. The Little Mermaid: I think “Under the Sea” is the only song in any DP movie which preguntas the actions of the heroine, providing another perspective (save for "Dig a little Deeper", but that's más a "you shouldn't forget to do this too" than a "what tu do might be the wrong decision" song). For this fact alone it deserves a high placing. But it’s also one of those songs which made me want to dance immediately. The text is full of creative lines like “under the sea we’re off the hook”, it’s just a joy to hear those wordplays.

Fanpop says: The clear winner, and it got a lot of declarations of love. “This song never fails to put me in a good mood :)” (milky-way)
disney Princesses all have heartbreaking moments.
Disney Princesses all have heartbreaking moments.
I decided to make this because I felt like it. disney Princess cine have had a lot of sad moments, and they were important points of the movie. disney Princesses always go through hardship and heartbreak, and maybe that's why we amor them so much and can relate. While I may not write as eloquently as other users on here, I'll try to do my best to explain. Here's my countdown of the parte superior, arriba ten.

10. Snow White's terror in the woods. How would tu like being told your stepmother was going to kill you, and then having to run into scary dark woods where branches grab tu and logs attack? While...

The choices for link were between her blue outfit and her purple outfit. The blue outfit rained victorious.

It's más royal looking, the other one is más casual wear - firegirl1515

Well, I actually prefer jazmín wearing the blue one but in the line-up, I think she should wear purple because Aurora and cenicienta already have blue dresses - TigerRanma

The purple outfit is my favorito! disney princess outfit - princesslullaby

I like both - pretty_angel92

7. playa Rags

Big surprise. The outfit that is clearly meant to be a joke comes in last place. Do I really need to go into any explanation on this one? Although I vaguely remember a few randos saying that they thought it was cool. Why do I get the feeling those kids were the ones who ate glue and got stuffed into lockers in middle school? Moving on...

6. rosado, rosa Ballgown

What was that little perra Carlotta thinking? I bet she's jealous because...

I get most people hate Pocahontas for its historical inaccuracy, and so do I. It just doesn't seem right to me to have John Smith (who was a Pervert, Betrayer, and Conquerer) as a disney prince and looked at in such a angelic light. Since most people's agreement is "it's just a movie." And "it's not Disney's job to make teach history." I'm not asking for a historically accurate film that would be terrible for children. I'm stating it was a mistake to be made a BASED of real history story..it could have just been a misceláneo Native American but no they chose Pocahontas and they twisted and bent...

It was a fine día down in the South in New Orleans. Tiana and Naveen were at inicial enjoying their día off from Tiana's Palace. Tiana was fixing up some of her daddy's special gumbo for her and Naveen. As she was chopping the okra, Naveen came up behind her and wrapped his arms around Tia's waist. She looked beautiful: with her curly black hair pulled into a ponytail and a smile that was so contagious, Naveen couldn't help but smile too.
"Ma Belle Evangeline." Naveen sang softly into his wife's ear as he gently swayed Tiana's body.
"So far above me, yet I, know her corazón belongs to only me." Tiana...

First of all I want to make it clear that I think both are amazing characters and I amor them to death. I'm going to keep an open mind about both of them when comparing them. They both have things that they did better than the other. So who's the better character? We'll just have to see.

What they have in common
I think it's fair to first mention what they have in common. They're both redheads, adventurous, curious, wild, whiny, selfish, have parent issues, rebellious, brave, heroic, free-spirited, make deals with witches, and of course cause a big mess with all their mistakes. Let's also not...

I still continuously see people remarking on Pocahontas "lack of personality." It has been a little más uncommon, but just for the other nonbelievers, I decided to write this. I know many will beg to differ, but it's just the way I see it. If tu have any reason to disagree, go ahead and leave a comment. I'm up to defend her. XD Okay, I'll quit rambling on and actually start the article.

The Start

We first begin to see Pocahontas' personality in the very beginning. She leaves us with a lasting first impression. We can see how she is connected to nature from the very start. Seeing her jump off...

Since I'm a fan of the Harry Potter book series, I've decided to start a series of interpreting disney characters into the Hogwarts Houses. I'll be doing all the princesses and princes, and maybe some side characters and villains. This article'll just be the Classic Princesses, since the descriptions are going to be pretty lengthy and I doubt tu guys could handle lectura another of my super long articles. If tu don't like Harry Potter tu might be a bit confused, but if tu have basic knowledge of the houses you'll be fine. Oh, and all of this is just my opinion.

Also, just for reference,...

Dungeons & dragones (or D&D for short) is a super fun mesa, tablero de la mesa roleplaying game that's been around since the 1970s but has recently gained a fair bit of popularity. I've been playing the game for around eight years at time of writing, and I strongly recommend tu give it a try if tu ever get the chance. It's really an absolute blast! D&D has always been one of my favorito! hobbies, but within the last two years it's become an even bigger part of my life. Since I've been having so much fun with it recently, I decided it was finally time to try something I'd always wanted to do: turning...
