Does getting your nose pierced, hurt? Just a stud, not a ring.

I was wondering because for my 14th birthday in April, I was gonna get my helix pierced, but my aunt & mom shyed me away from it, saying it is uberly painful. And that nose pierce doesn't hurt as much as the helix. So... I was wondering how tu guy's feel about it. Cause if it doesn't hurt & the body jewrly place will do it, I'm getting my nosed pierced. :) s0...
