What are some good drawing programs?

my trial for Paint tool SAI just expiró and my mom won't but me the software license because its bloody expensive. So do any of tu know some good, preferably free and tablet compatible drawing programs

I don't have a tablet though, so I can't say if Gimp o Paint.net supports it (I assume it does).
DeviantArt also have a drawing program on their site. Its not the most powerful thing ever, but it does do some things pretty well. Its free, but tu can buy más tools.

I can never get gimp to work, i don't know why, but i'll try paint.net.!! And i have colores 3D, so that;s good, thank you!!
