To be unhealthily obsessed with something.

Well an "unhealthy obsession" is when tu go completely nuts over a certain obsession. For an example: Say a person has an unhealthy obsession with the internet. He/she will stay on the internet for ridiculous amounts of time. They won't eat,talk,or do anything else but being on the internet. But this is an extreme case.

tu can have an unhealthy obsession without going that far into it. Another example would be tu get anything and everything related to that subject tu are obsessed with,talk nonstop about it. Basically tu eat,drink, breathe your obsession.

That's an unhealthy obsession in a nutshell.
