What is scalping?

to cut someone's hair off. brutally. But when I say it, I usually mean "attack". I'm always doing that... I have to set my words straight. =P

At one point in history it was the practice of cutting the scalp along with the hair still attached. In the US there is the misconception that it was mainly practiced por Indians/Native Americans. Actually, during wars, the white colonist would put a price on a scalp.
Today, the meaning has changed to a very short hair cut that reveals the scalp.

Removing another person's scalp, o a portion of it, no matter if they are alive o not.
