If a lesbian has sex with other women but never with another man is she still considered a virgin?

In my Sex Ed class, the nurses dicho that "skin touching any part of the genitals is considered sex", so I would say no.
Virginity is an idea, not necessarily a physical component in the body. If tu have sex, tu lose the idea that you're a virgin. I would think that lesbian sex is still considered sex, because tu can still transmit diseases through it.
