Part 4 - Aftershocks
When we last left... Skipper had just been imprisoned because the King Otter, Marlene, and their subjects found him holding the Ocean Jewel. However, he had just been trying to stop 005 (Leah) from taking it when they all arrived. Later, in the prison cell, Skipper talked to the rest of his men, while Marlene stood in the security room, watching the conversation. Towards the end of their conversation, Skipper tells his men that he has "been madly in love" with Marlene. Her reaction: Face facing down, paws on the control panel, and a stunned look on her face...
Two subjects of the king arrive in the security room.
Subject 1: (shocked) "Princess Marlene!"
Subject 2: "Are tu all alright your highness?"
Marlene just stood in the same position, silent.
Subject 1: "Tell us, Marlene. What's wrong?"
Marlene: (softly/quickly) "I'm fine. It's nothing. I just need some sleep."
Subject 2: "Yes, your majesty! Good night."
As Marlene walked out of the room, Leah was standing outside the door, and saw her face.
Leah: (thinking to herself) "Wonder what's up with her? Hmmmmm...."
Meanwhile, Skipper was about to conclude his conversation with the rest of his men.
Kowalski: "Skipper, why don't tu tell Marlene the truth then?"
Skipper: "That wouldn't make any difference. I'm a prisoner now, and that's that!"
Kowalski: "Skipper, don't say that! Of course it will. She's your friend."
Private: "Let's just all hope that tu get out of that cell as soon as possible."
Rico: "Yes, yes." Skipper: "I hope so too Private. I hope so too."
He then turned off the web cam, and security personnel retrieved the computer.
Later, in Marlene's room...
Marlene: (thinking to herself while lying in her bed) "I can't believe this. After all this time?! What do I do? I just can't ask my father to release him. He'll think I've gone mad! What's a girl like me to do? Skipper..."
Back in the prison cell...
Skipper: (thinking to himself while lying down and staring at the full moon outside) "Marlene, I wish tu could have heard what I told my men, but I'll probably never say it again. I know you're probably still mad at what I did, but I can't change that. I don't know if tu still consider me you're a friend o not, but tu probably don't. Anyways, I hope your life here is más meaningful as it was back in the zoo."
The siguiente day...
There is a knock at the door of Marlene's room.
Marlene: "Come in." Leah entered her room. Marlene: "Leah, what are tu doing here?"
Leah: "I sort of saw tu walking out of the security room downstairs last night. tu looked like tu were in some sort of trance o something."
Marlene: (softly) "All right. Leah, can I tell tu something, girl-to-girl?"
Leah: "Sure. What is it about?"
Marlene: "However, tu must promise me that tu won't tell anyone else what I'm about to tell tu now!"
Leah: "I promise."
Marlene: "Ok. tu see, it's about Skipper. I overheard something he dicho to his men last night on the web cam."
Leah: "What did he say?"
Marlene: (nervously) "Well, um, he said, um..."
Leah: "You can tell me. Trust me."
Marlene: "All right, all right. He dicho that he has been madly in amor with me."
Leah: (surprised) "Oh... really?"
Marlene: "That was my reaction too, and, yes, it's all true. What do I do Leah?"
Leah: "I really don't know. It's obvious tu can't tell this all to your father."
Marlene: "I know."
Leah: "Well, I think tu should just let events happen as they come. Maybe after some time, tu can tell Skipper what tu heard."
Marlene: "Maybe..."
Leah: "Well, I gotta go. Your father's waiting for me for some important matters. See tu later!"
Marlene was silent.
As she exits...
Leah: (thinking to herself) "First, a doll. Then, a falcon. Now, this otter. Skipper, when will tu ever end?"
Later that afternoon, Leah transformed back into 005 to talk to her boss once again.
Blowhole: "Well, well, 005. I'm assuming tu have some good news to share."
005: "Yes, I do. Skipper is now imprisoned as tu probably know, so getting to his men should be relatively simple."
Blowhole: "Yes, very good. And don't worry, I've already sent out some of my henchmen to capture the others. They will not get away this time. However, I have also found más help to retrieve that jewel."
005: "And who might that be?"
"Agent 12, reporting."
005: "Who are you?"
Agent 12: "I am Agent 12 of the Walrus Clan. But, tu can call me Rhonda."
Blowhole: "Agent 12 here tells me that she's had contact with the zoo animals, especially Marlene."
Agent 12: "Yes, in fact, I was roommates with her for a short amount of time."
005: "Really?! Have any intel on her?"
Agent 12: "Not really. However, those penguins were always on to me while I was there."
005: "That doesn't surprise me. They're pretty smart when they need to."
Agent 12: "Yes, and we Walruses will gladly help tu both in completing your ultimate revenge scheme."
Blowhole: "And with your support, we will conquer the nutria Kingdom, obtain the Ocean Jewel, and take over the entire animal world. And only then will I have completed my revenge on those penguins and the humans."
(All laugh)
