Chapter 1
Julien was lying on his back in his bounce house. He sighed sorrowfully as the zoo visitors passed por his habitat. Well, only one type of zoo visitors made him sigh, the couples. The two humans looked like they were having fun as they held hands, kissed, and walked around the zoo together looking at all of the animals. They were happy. </I>He</I> was not. Julien would've been dancing alongside his two loyal subjects and closest friends, if it weren't for one person that kept clouding his mind.
"Marlene." the lémur, lemur king whispered sadly so only he can hear. How his corazón ached for her. Yet Marlene wasn't the only reason why the king was down. She couldn't keep him from having as much fun as he can. The reason Julien was feeling blue was because of... Skipper. Yes, Skipper and Marlene started dating and spending much más time with each other. Only, it wasn't por choice. No, it was because of all the other zoo animals. They all thought that Skipper and Marlene would make an absolute cute couple, so they'd always try to persuade the pingüino, pingüino de and nutria to date. Eventually, all of their persuading annoyed the two so much that they finally decided to give it a shot. Ever since then, they have been dating. All zoo animales were overjoyed and congratulated the couple, which they named, "Skilene." The king mumbled. "What is so great about this Skilene? Pfft, I've always loved Marlene longer than the bossy pingüino, pingüino de and I will always amor her the mostest." Julien squinted his eyes in anger and jealousy as he thought of the "happy" couple. Yet he relaxed his eyes and stared at the sky when the sadness returned. His lively eyes were shrouded with despair.
If only Julien told Marlene his feelings, but Julien isn't too good with feelings, like Skipper. He's a bit afraid to actually say that he loves someone. Sure he flirted with lots of things, but they were never serious, except maybe 'Arlene.' There was something about her that immediately sparked his interest, besides her looks. He didn't know it at the time, but the reason was because she was Marlene. He flashbacked back to a time when they were spending some time alone, his subjects had the día off, the penguins off in one of their missions, and everyone else doing their own thing.
"Where are we going, Julien?" Marlene asked as the lémur, lemur king held her paw and led her to a place unknown to her. The ring-tailed lémur, lemur continued to pull her, smiling as he did.
"It's a surprise, Marlene." he replied. Marlene put on a confused look, but decided to keep her mouth shut. Right outside of the zooviner shop, Julien told Marlene to shut her eyes.
"Why?" she asked skeptically.
"Because, it's a surprise." he answered, a bit annoyed. Sure, he loved her, but even your loved ones can get on your nerves. Frowning, Marlene shut her eyes. After making sure she couldn't see, Julien opened the zooviner comprar door and led her into the middle of the shop.
"Can I open my eyes now?" The Asian nutria asked.
"No, not yet." Julien answered as he started running around the building, pressing buttons, pulling levers, and finding the boom box.
"Now?" Marlene asked, anxious to see what Julien had planned.
"Okay, now." He answered as be stood in front of her, grinning excitedly. Marlene looked around her and opened her mouth in surprise. The room seemed to be highlighted purple, there was a disco ball hanging on the ceiling, multi-color lights flashing everywhere, rosado, rosa and purple streamers were hanged, rosas were set inside of vases all around her, Julien's "boomy-box" was set on the counter, and there were rosas everywhere.
"Wow." was all the nutria could say.
"Do tu like it?" Julien asked hopefully.
"I amor it." grinned Marlene. Julien smiled too. "Why did tu do all of this?" Julien's smile fell.
"Uh, because..." The lémur, lemur king tried hard to think of something. He felt himself tense up and sweat threatening to fall. He didn't want to admit that he loved her. His eyes fell on his boom box, and an idea finally sprang. "I wanted to mostrar tu my new dance moves!" Julien turned on the boom box and danced along to the beat. Marlene stared at him in confusion. "Come on, Marlene! Don't just stand there, dance with me." She smiled and danced alongside the king. They had loads of fun that day. If only Julien had told her the real reason though...
That wasn't the only chance Julien had to tell her, he had so many chances to say "I amor you, Marlene", but he'd always chicken out o try to change the subject. He continued to wallow in his sadness, his mind deep in thought of the one he loved.
However, his thoughts were disturbed por a familiar voice. "Julien?"
The zoo animals, if tu couldn't tell, are Skilene fans. Also, I'm making this story similar to the whole idea of Romeo and Juliet, which explains the title. To Skileners and other couple supporters that include either Marlene o Julien, please don't comentario badly. This goes for Juleners as well.

Description: The leader of team pingüino, pingüino de who always seems to get himself into suisidal missions.
Conner and Skipper enter the ring Skipper readies his laser pen, Conner draws out his pistol. Conner takes the first shot Skipper jumps out of the way and turns on his laser pen. As Conner is reloading his pistol Skipper turns around, jumps up, and cuts off Conner's head. Victory goes to Skipper.
