The original fuente of the "MJ converts to Islam" claim, was an articulo in “The Sun”, a UK tabloid, well-known for making up stories. The other newspapers used “The Sun” as their source, and merely repeated the story.

When Jermaine converted to Islam, there were rumors that MJ would possibly do the same. In 2008 the tabloid "The Sun" put out the rumor that Michael had become a Muslim during a ceremony at a “friend’s” house, after he had allegedly been convinced por a “friend” to convert. Two of the people who were claimed por the articulo to have been there, have stated that it never happened. These “friends” are the "Nation of Islam", a political-religious organization. That Michael would’ve joined them is absurd. If tu read this, you’ll understand why:

Jermaine got bodyguards from the Nation of islam to “protect” Michael from "certain" people. One of MJ’s REAL friends dicho that they in reality were isolating him, wanted to control him and were abusing him as a trophy. (You may have seen videos on youtube eg, where Muslims are claiming that Michael converted to their religion, and use him as propaganda for their faith. That’s one example of the abuse Michael’s friend was talking about.) He also dicho that Michael never converted to Islam, and that “he died in his cama under a large cruzar, cruz on the muro and believed in a loving God who is above all”. Michael was always interested in lectura and learning, also about other religions, including Islam, but he was NOT a Muslim.
