Fablehaven Pregunta

Hugo suddenly appeared in book 1?

Hi there,

I am absolutely hooked to Fablehaven, almost getting to the end of the first book, I've already ordered libros 2 to 5. As it seems they only get better? With some magical artifacts appearing in book 2?

A big pregunta though: I thought that the "pacing" of the first book was odd. más precisely : just before the chapter "The Forgotten Chapel", Grandma has hung up a little trinket to attract Hugo back to their house and at the beginning of "The Forgotten Chapel", he seems to be pulling them ahead in the rickshaw.

In the pages before that, I had the feeling (just a feeling while reading) that the autor was trying to add a little mystery to Hugo (where did he go to? If he had some fixed and defined tasks, why didn't he leche that humongous cow in the barn?) and it was strange to see this character suddenly "be there". Without any explanation o some lines that he (eg) cames throdding out of the forest towards them...

Thanks for any clarification / opinion :)

well as mentioned later he's with warren during these nights to take care of him and has strict orders to stay there to make sure he's fine since he can't take care of himself and wouldn't come back until called and no one told Seth and Kendra that tu can call him por ringing the bell.
