Cinders I really doubt it. I've noticed that when they want to justify their preformed opinions, people look at religion and their Holy Text, and not the other way around. In other words, he's not against tattoos, so he would never go looking for the passage in the Bible that denounces it as sinful. Ignorance can be bliss, but can it get you into heaven? In this case, I think not. Though the debate of whether or not a person never exposed to the teachings of Christ can go to heaven or not rages on. But that's another topic. I rant when I'm hungry. I gave my lunch away today.

emilyroxx People are hypocrites in that way. They say that they want to to be honest with them, but when you ARE honest with them, they get angry at you for insulting them. Sometimes the truth is painful.

thetruthishere I can't tell if the above conversation is just joking around or not, so I apologize if it is hahah, but, the quote isn't about "lying" in the sense of not telling the truth, it's about engaging in sexual activity... bri-marie ^It is. That's why it's ironic. The very next chapter of Leviticus [i]forbids[/i] tattoos (outright forbids, as well, not a "well it can be interpreted" kind of way).

In debate clash is when the two arguments that the opposing sides have dado have to do with each other. For example if tu wanted to legalize cocaine and I make the argument that legalizing cocaine would lead to increased crimes and tu responded to me por saying that it would actually decrease crimes then we have clash, and the thing about clash it allows us to both present try to present better evidence.
