Why are there so many copyrights when I Watch my fav anime???

Just Like Loveless...When I started to streaming it...it told me that..."Sorry but this video contains copyright o it was been erased por the user"

I felt so weird that "why did they copy it"

When I watch Gakuen Heaven...is was like loveless too..it contains copyright of blah blah blah stuff

But when streaming online anime it's often illegally fansubbed and put on the website (just like when you're downloading anime).
There are only a few online anime streaming sites that are actually legal (for example Crunchyroll).
The actual owners/animation studio of the anime tries to remove all illegally publicado anime, so this is often just removed from the site (Youtube too) because of copyright violation.
On my last YouTube account I uploaded up to episode 10 of the anime Monster subbed HD, but after a while youtube removed it all because of the copyrights and my account was banned :/

Because 'TECHNICALLY' reading/watching an unlicensed English subbed(fansub) is 'illegal'.

Its to protect the content of the authors/publishers/makers from being distributed without them cashing in.

Basically tu have to go buy it for it to be 'legal'.
