Rant about KPop and their high standard of beauty, please skip if you get offended easily or if it's too long.
The first think that comes to mind is KPop. Especially female idols. My favorite female group is Girls Generation but I hate the fan club here. Every day we they have a "prettiest/most beautiful" member countdown. The results are always the same. The first ones always voted off are most of the time said to be ugly and sometimes they get compared to animals. I get really offended, not because my favorite members are usually considered to be the least attractive of the bunch, because who are they to judge. They also argue that they are not beautiful by Korean standards. I would like to point out that most of the club is not Korean, to add to that, most of them are not even Asian. I'll admit that I use to post polls about who looked prettier in this video, or who looked the best in that video. Then I realized that I've just picked the best looking one, I didn't pick them because of their talent nor their personality but just on their looks. I felt like a bad person. As someone who got picked on at school for her looks, I was mortified. Even though they may never read my comments, it hurt me. What does it say about the kpop fandom in general.
We have polls like link and link that get both positive and negative comments.
Anyways that was my little rant thing, sorry for getting off topic.

TL;DR: Calling people ugly in general is really mean.

People think that just because they're a celebrity you can call them what ever you want, but they're a human just like they are! It's despicable and terrible for someone to call a human being that..

It can be said in a positive manner...e.g: Your a fox, You sexy beast/dog/wolf, kitty-cat, my sweet little mouse, tigress, unicorn princess{lol}, smart owl, and in my case I love being called a snake{team Slytherin!} even if it's ment in a negative way....I always call my friend a monkey for the laugh - she dosen't mind, and again monkey's are nice animals!!!

wow!! Sounds like you are mocking me. You've said mean things about people before, so stop acting like you don't say it either. You said Nicki Minaj looks like momma frog and that Liz Taylor looks like a diseased rat. There are ugly people out there. Its not a nice thing to say, but that's the truth. Also it doesnt always mean a bad thing. I also used it for good purposes.

I was in a hateful stage with Elizabeth Taylor and even went attacking her overrated looks. Also there's the fact that I had just watch a documentary that kept using bad pictures of her. As for Nicki Minaj that was like one time as apposed to you using it constantly! If we're keeping count it's me two and you a billion! Also used it for good purposes? You use it to tell how ugly you think people you are, more specifically celebrities you hate! How the heck is that good purpose? Also don't flatter yourself, for years I've heard other insults like this, such as two years ago Miley was called a deformed hamster and Justin Bieber (who I don't like) was called a raccoon. It's true some people are ugly but that doesn't mean that they look like animals or an alien.

You clearly need to get your eyes checked because for example you say Miley Cyrus looks like a rat with horse teeth, nope, this is what a human with a rat face and horse teeth would look like link

You also say Arianna Grande, who I don't think is anything special either, looks like a diseased monkey. If a human looked like a diseased monkey or any monkey for that matter this is what they would look like link

Lastly you say Bella Thorne looks like an alien but if a human looked like an alien this is what they would look like link

Now do any of these girls look like that? NO! Did I make this poll because of you? NO! I made this because I've seen several people say things like this and it's just horrible and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Especially when someone uses it to call Miley and Bella those things ^^cough*cough*uploaded900*cough*^^

Considering humans are animals, I don't get what the person is trying to accomplish. I look like what I supposed to look like, I guess. I don't know what an alien looks like, so that is confusing.

In my opinion it all depends; are they doing it to be rude or not. Some people compare a person/celebrity's looks to the beauty of *insert animal* others are just being rude. And then there's the simple fact that famous people especially are inevitably going to get called silly names like that so I just zone it out (unless the same person keeps doing it over and over again and/or escalates the insults.

@Usernameinvilad Particularly why I don't go on that spot very often anymore. Between that and the 'who has the best butt' polls, I was pushed out. So I stick to the kpop spot. People there are generally less judgmental.
