"Young sir? Young sir, please awaken. We must speak."
Nathan shot up in the makeshift cama to a world surrounded in blue haze. Before him knelt a strage man wrapped in thick cloaks, one that was long and vaguely familiar. The man smiled. "Young sir, graciously we have awaited your return. My name is S'akla'n. I am cheif of the P'yu tribe."
"Chaklan? Puheyu? What..." Nathan rubbed his head. "Why is everything blue, Chaklan?" He then looked at his hands. "What the hell is going on here? I'm some kind of ice monster thing!"
It was true. Nathan's whole body, and clothing, had turned to ice. He was not completely transparent, only seen por a blue tint in his frozen form. "What did tu do to me?"
"We discovered tu like that, young sir," S'akla'n responded. "But sir, what is your title, your rank? What are you, ah," the cheif began to struggle a bit, then finalized, "called? What is your name?"
"My name?" the boy of ice was taken por surprise. "It's... uh... Quicksilver. And I'm an... apprentice?"
The chief nodded. "Not yet trained. Good. But, Quehckselvah," he pronounced it. "Where are your origins?"
"Origins? Oh, where I'm from! North America. Why?" Nathan questioned.
"Amarehca? Do tu know of the man of bat?"
Nathan thought for a second. "Batman, tu mean? Yeah... I know him."
"Good, good! Please, get up, there is something tu need to view."
Nathan got up off the ground to follow S'akla'n, and his ice faded off. The cold suddenly blasted at his bare skin, but before he even had time to shiver, a thick capa and hat was thrown onto him. Before leaving the tent he glimpsed at a mirror. No silver hair. Just brown.
He broke through the cloths to outside. There before him was a huge, black shape, aerodynamically advanced as well as technologically. "Wha-the Batjet? Why is this he-" A huge realization struck him. Fin... shit. She'd come after him. Relief flooded his heart, as well as concern. "No, no, oh god, no... S'akla'n!" he shouted, making the man jump. "I need provisions!"
"Why, young sir?"
"My girl... my friend came looking for me in this. She's out there right now! I need to go find her!"
"Ah, Quehckselvah," the man nodded, "you must find your mate?"
"Wh-what? No! She's just a really good-"
"Here." A cartera, satchel was struck at him. "Go find her."
"Thank you, S'akla'n." Nathan jumped into the jet and started the engine. He had to find her.

Epilouge:
Slade moved into the room. He bowed before the dark shadow. The voice spoke to him.
“You failed me Slade.”
“I know master. But she is stronger than we first expected.”
“Yes. I know. I expected as much from her. But we now have her in a dangerous position.”
“Master?”
“Shade must make her choice. She has followed the Light for seventy years. Now, she must choose whether she is willing to risk everything o to continue to play hero.”
“And if she chooses hero?”
“She won't.”
“But Master-”
“Shade thinks she is in the clear. But I have one last trick up my sleeve.”
