When I woke, there were metal cuffs around my hand. I looked around to find myself in a dark room that looked extremely similar to a briefing room. I sighed and rested my feet on the mesa, tabla in front of me. There was a large shout from outside the window, and a crash as Robin tried to get into the room. Then I barely made out batman saying,
"She almost killed the team."
"It wasn't her fault! She's being forced to!"
"No. Absolutely no."
"C'mon!"
"Dude, give it up." K.F. cut in, and the door began to open. I realized that I was still dressed in civie clothing. por the time batman entered the room I was in my costume, mask and all. He seemed unfazed por the sudden difference in looks.
"What are tu doing here?"
I stared at him. If he honestly thought I was going to answer, he was wrong. There was no way I was ever going to talk to him.
"I said-"
"She knows what tu dicho Batman, she isn't gonna talk!" A voice crackled onto the speakers, and I smirked.
"Robin, I told tu to stay away from the mic."
"Who the hell says I'm anywhere near the mic?" A familiar laugh echoed through the room, somewhat of a cackle. God, I hadn't heard that laugh in four years. I focused back onto Batman, who was looking at me. He turned toward the one way glass and asked, "Well, if she won't talk to me, who will she talk to?"
Now it was my turn to talk. "I'll talk to my brother."
I felt everyone turned and stare. I could literally feel all eyes on me, and though I couldn't see them I grinned mischievously, which should have dado it away. And it did. "Robin?" I heard Aqualad ask. batman opened the door and Dick, once again dressed in his costume. As soon as the door closed, I went from a mischievous grin to a real one. "Hi D-Robin."
"Hey, kiddo."
"So, what do they want?"
"They want what I want, everything. They want answers. Any kind of answers. All kinds. It's not very whelming, when tu think about it." I laughed, a más girly version of his cackle.
"You use that word WAY to much."
"Want me to stop?"
"No, god no! It's hilarious! It reminds me of when we were little!"
A small moment of silence occurred, and we began to bust up laughing. "Seriously, though, why don't tu get a bit más comfortable?"
I looked at him, not really puzzled but actuación as so. "Oh, come on," he said. "We both know those cuffs came off as soon as tu woke up." I shook my head, defeated, and there was a clang of metal as the cuffs hit the floor. I stood and stretched. "So. Are tu planning on actually telling them?"
I sighed. "I suppose. Maybe they'll be más tolerant of me and actually let me sleep on a building in peace siguiente time." I giggled and sat. "Well, here goes nothing..."

Revenge watched. The Shadow placed something in the drawer and began to close it.
Revenge jumped down and kicked him in the face. The shadow fell to the ground. Revenge pinned him before opening the drawer. The body was disintegrated, an acid ate through the flesh, muscles, bones, everything. Revenge collected a sample before he saw the grenade.
It was a timed grenade. And the timer indicated ten segundos before detonation.
"Shit!"

"I don't wanna die!" the boy howled, digging his face into Revenge's knee.
"You have no say in the matter."
"I do." Revenge growled.
The assassin turned his head slightly before tossing a cuchillo in Revenge's direction. It caught him in the chink in his armor. Literally. Revenge glared at the blood seeping from the wound. The black clad assassin continued his approach. Revenge punched him in the throat, crushing his windpipe, causing the man to stumble backwards.
"You wanna play with knives?" Revenge yelled. "Two can play at that game!"
For a second, the assassin couldn't breathe. Then, he stood up, rubbing his neck.
"No way." Revenge muttered, stepping back.
"Red Revenge. For interfering with the mission, tu too shall feel the talons of the Court of Owls!"
Night of the Owls.
Coming Soon.

For a moment, Revenge was pressed against her in the narrow hallway in complete darkness. Then, there was a light, from Revenge's mask, and the hallway was lit in a dim red light.
"Ladies first." Revenge said.
"Scared?" Batgirl asked.
"Funny." Revenge said. "I'll take point."
Barbara cut him off. "I'LL take point." she said.
"I've got the light." Revenge said. "And the armor, and the brains."
"Har har, funny."
"Indeed. Watch my back."
"From the scary dark?" Batgirl asked in a mocking voice.
Revenge turned and tossed a dagger into the darkness behind them. It went farther than the three feet of the iron door through which they had entered.
"Any más smart remarks?"
