I made a chair of darkness for Cheshire. She sat down and she was lashed in.
âCheshire, why do tu want to destroy the Justice League?â I demanded
âIâm just following ordersâ she smirked. I got ready to call Thanatos. Cat stopped me.
âIâll take care of thisâ She smiled âCheshire, Iâm not sure how much longer I can control her. Itâs either tu talk to us, o Death. tu pickâ she looked over at Thanatos, who was flying around near some trees
âYour little pet doesnât scare me and neither do youâ Cheshire huffed
âI have an ideaâ I grabbed Cheshire and flew to the parte superior, arriba of a building. I held her out, por one leg.
âIâll make tu a deal. tu tell me what we want to know, and Thanatos doesnât get to accompany tu to the Underworld.â I offered
âYouâre bluffingâ I heard the fear in her voice.
âMy arm is getting tiredâ I loosened my grip. She slipped a bit.
âYouâre no Batmanâ she growled
âYouâre right. Iâm not Batman. He wouldnât drop you. I willâ I growled.
âYeah rightâ she rolled her eyes. I let go. She screamed as she fell. I flew under her and caught her.
âNext time, I wonât catch youâ I growled in her ear.
âWhat do tu want to know?â she asked
âWhy did tu plant a bomb against the Justice League?â I demanded
âI was hiredâ she replied
âNo duh. But por who?â I asked
âHeâs right behind youâ she smiled. I turned, falling for the oldest trick in the book. She jumped away. I flew after her. She threw a small ball at me. It exploded in my face and I crashed to the ground. Robin rushed over to me.
âAre tu okay?â he asked
âOnly my pride is a bit bruisedâ I got up. I flew up high. No sign of her.
âSheâs gone?â Robin asked
âYeah. Iâm sorry.â I let my hair cover my face.
âItâs okay. Itâs not your faultâ he tried to make me feel better. It didnât work. Kalder walked up to us.
âWhereâs Cheshire?â he asked
âShe got away. I almost had herâ I looked away
âItâs not your faultâ Kalder said
âLetâs go. The Justice League should be here soonâ I said, walking back to the bio ship. Thanatos flew beside me. Talk about being in the shadow of death. I heard something behind me. I spun around to find Cat running to catch up.
âHey, I heard what happened, and itâs not your fault. Cheshire is sneakyâ she tried to comfort me. I was in no mood for comforting. I kept walking.

"I don't wanna die!" the boy howled, digging his face into Revenge's knee.
"You have no say in the matter."
"I do." Revenge growled.Â
The assassin turned his head slightly before tossing a cuchillo in Revenge's direction. It caught him in the chink in his armor. Literally. Revenge glared at the blood seeping from the wound. The black clad assassin continued his approach. Revenge punched him in the throat, crushing his windpipe, causing the man to stumble backwards.
"You wanna play with knives?" Revenge yelled. "Two can play at that game!"
For a second, the assassin couldn't breathe. Then, he stood up, rubbing his neck.
"No way." Revenge muttered, stepping back.
"Red Revenge. For interfering with the mission, tu too shall feel the talons of the Court of Owls!"
Night of the Owls.
Coming Soon.

"No, no, no, no!" Revenge said, wiping up the blood with his gloves. There was too much
on the floor. Too much had been lost. The sword that had done the damage was laying
over to the side. Revenge tried to pick it up, but his strength had left him. It clattered
to the floor beside him as he sank to his knees, the unbearable pain filling his
body and mind.
