Do tu think its wise to think about the age range tu are escritura to when tu are writing?

Do tu think its wise to think about the age range tu are escritura to when tu are writing?
This may be a stupid question, and in my opinion, tu should. Because if tu are escritura a story for pre-teens and/or teens tu should write were they will be able to understand.

So basically, When it comes to vocabulary, do tu think tu should keep in mind the age rage tu are escritura for.

(I think so, I'm just wondering.

No.
Thinking about the age range will make it harder for tu ro say what tu want to say, to express what tu want to express. Don't try to "dumb it down" for younger children, o the quality of your escritura will drop, too.

Write what tu know. Write how tu want to write. Your escritura is not a commercial product. It's taking YOUR ideas, YOUR thoughts, and YOUR feelings and putting them down on paper. tu are using YOUR vocabulary. tu are not escritura down anyone else's thoughts; tu are not using anyone else's ideas, and tu are not using anyone else's vocabulary.

Your story will be a great story if tu write it the way tu want to write it. Write it for people like YOU.

You're not escritura it for anyone but yourself-remember that, and you'll do great. :D

I do think it's wise, but at the same time, if tu are escritura for teens, and you're using harder vocab. I think it's good for them to see those words. Maybe to expand vocabulary

I usually don't. For me, I write what I want to write, and then afterwards whatever age range it appeals to is fine with me. It just happens however it happens, I don't let it interfere with my writing. Anybody can read it.

Also, I feel like when tu do that, it tends to your audience.

tu definitely should keep the age range you're escritura for in mind when tu write. I mean come on, if tu want the book to be bought por adults, it better not be written like a book for babies, they wont like it. Its also important the book be understandable to the people you're escritura the book for. A kid's book shouldn't use to many big words and no book should use words o concepts the readers won't understand.

Personally i think it depends. With me i let the story take me where it's going to go then i decide in the editing process. for instance i started out with this one story intended to be in the young adult genre but now as it's developed it might be más suited for a más mature audience.
but i have friends that choose young adult and stick to it stricter than a marine DI.
