Believe it o not, I am quite the fan of old black and white style of humor. From the silent actuación of Charlie Chaplin pre-Hitler stache era to the slapstick oro of the Three Stooges. Just something about that style of humor from that decade makes me laugh. And Abbott and Costello were no exception. They were just so much fun to watch from their shows and movies. And being a fan of the classic Universal horror monsters, when I heard there was a crossover, I was both excited but skeptical. How could two differentiating genres make for a good movie… Well, you’d be surprised.
Despite the film being called Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, there is más than just Frankenstein’s Monster in this movie. There is also Dracula and even the lobo Man in this movie. tu even have Dracula played por Bela Lugosi, Glenn Strange as Frankenstein’s Monster, and The lobo Man played por Lon Chaney Jr. There’s even a gag at the end where Vincent Price plays the Invisible Man. But enough about me getting all excited about classic horror films and their actors, let’s actually talk about the film. The movie followed Abbott and Costello who get tasked with delivering a new attraction at a wax museum, not knowing that they are carrying both the coffin of Dracula and a box containing Frankenstein’s Monster. Dracula plans to revive The Monster in the hopes of having a new lackey for himself, and Abbott and Costello and dragged into it. Meanwhile, Talbot, The Wolfman, must find and stop Dracula while he still can before he transforms into the creature. And throughout it all, Abbott and Costello are just cracking jokes and slapping each other around and it’s a lot of fun.
The plot doesn’t do anything new. The Monster (Screw calling it Frankenstein, I’m a perfectionist), needs a new brain and Costello is the one while Abbott calls him crazy when he sees the monsters, but the movie is so entertaining that tu can forgive it for not doing anything new. Just seeing these classic creatures mover ominously through in the background, stalking the dumb duo, as they crack jokes is pretty silly. The scene where Talbot is begging for help as he is losing his sanity for fear of becoming a ferocious killer, in any other movie, would be disturbing and sad. But then tu got Costello cracking jokes the whole time and it makes the entire scene funny. Now, I will say that if tu are new to Abbott and Costello, I recommend tu check out some of their other work beforehand, as while this movie is pretty funny, they could do a lot más with the jokes. Just a lot of slow scenes and not a lot of time for the duo to get some jokes in. Then again, I guess this is technically a horror film, if a comedy as well.
After this film, Abbott and Costello were able to meet other Universal monsters, like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, played por Boris Karloff, Abbott and Costello meet The Mummy, Abbott and Costello meet the Invisible Man, not played por Vincent Price but por Arthur Franz instead, and there was a short film titled Abbott and Costello meet The Creature from the Black Lagoon. Abbott and Costello was the last film to feature the original three Universal monsters, Dracula, The Monster, and lobo Man. I mean, there may have been a chance with the Dark Universe cinematic universe, but uh….. Yeah, that ain’t happening.
Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein is good 1940’s comedy fun. It’s creepy enough to be considered a classic of the horror genre but it’s funny enough to watch with someone who isn’t exactly big into horror. It’s not their greatest moment, for either Abbott and Costello o the monsters, but it’s a film that is worth a watch if tu are a long time fan of either. Check it out, it’s worth a watch.

Now, what is one of the most laughably bad fanfics I have ever read in my entire life. Well, I think that that fanfic would be the creepypasta known as Mad for McDonalds.
Now, this story starts with a man who goes to a local McDonalds and starts eating. However, he just keeps eating, to the point where he becomes addicted to it. So addicted to where he goes there all the time, just eating Big Macs and stuff like that. Soon, his family keeps him from going back, so he gets angry and, for some reason, dresses up as Ronald McDonald and sneaks off to eat más at McDonalds only to become a great big fat fuck.
And that's about it. Like I said, this creepypasta, while not even being all that creepy, but is just so bad, that it is so hilarious. But, hey, that's only my opinion. Whats Your Take
