I was standing down stairs when Alicen came bounding down the stairs chanting. "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy!"

"What, what, what?" I laughed.

"Mommy looks so pretty." She smiled wide. "Just wait and see."

I could hear Bella's heels click on the stairs and I looked up, my breath catching in my throat.
Her dress...don't even get me started. It showed just enought skin for me but I wasn't so sure I wanted any other man seeing her like this.

Alicen tugged on my hand, breaking my train of thought. "Can we go now?" She asked.

"Let's go." I smiled.



Alicen was wiggling in her asiento and wouldn't be still....

I was completely grogey. The rain was muffled and so was the thunder. I sighed and rolled over on my back and everything became clear.

The rain was beating on my window and the thunder was louder than I had thought. I glanced at my alarm clock. It was 6:45. Alicen would be running in any minute. She wasn't very fond of storms.

Sure enough I heard her little feet. I thought every move. Hoped out of bed, ran to her door, flug it open, running...

"Jake, I really don't want to leave tu right now," I moaned as Jake made me get ready to leave.
It was unfair, I didn't HAVE to go inicial now, but Jake was in enough trouble as it is. "Honey,
your father hates me enough as it is. Besides, Bella wants tu back inicial with her." Jake held
his hand out and helped pulled me off his couch, "Jake, please, we haven't seen each other for
a long time," I pleaded. I pulled Jake down siguiente to me, "Besides, I amor you," I tried to
hypnotize Jake to let me stay with him for a few minutos more....

"You have a rental car remember? The Ashton Martin." She called though the kitchen.

I had forgotten I had to leave my Volvo at home. Damn. Insted I was driving a dark blue Ashton Martin.

"Edward? Can I talk to tu for a minute?" Esme asked sitting down on the couch.

"Mom." I groand. "I have to go pick up Bella."

"It will only take a moment." She begged.
