i think they do grow old.dont tu remeber in eclipse when they are telling the trib legends and stories about the thirf wife?he had two wives who died of old age and his last wife gave her life for him.so he evently stop shapeshifting and grew older until he died.b/c once they stop transforming into a lobo for a period of time and eventually starts to age,
