personally, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. But, tu shouldn't name your daughter something just because of twilight. Name her what tu want. What tu truly think is something special. I personally don't like the name reneesme as do other people, but it's your decision. Name your daughter what tu want. Not what others want, and not because of Twilight. :)

Well, honestly, if tu like the name, what does it matter what anyone else thinks? If tu want to name your kid that, why should our opinion matter?

i like the name and its different but it realy dont matter what everybody else think its ur child not theirs.

It's your own decision. I just think tu might regret it later and maybe your daughter wouldn't like to be named after a character from a book when she gets older. Maybe your daughter will think Twilight sucks, who knows? I would go look at my family árbol and find a perfect name. Naming your daughter Renesmee may give tu some false expectations and give your daughter an identity before she gets to make one herself.

But it's your choice and if tu like Rensesmee, then I don't see the problem.

it's a great idea!my mum let me change my name to rosealie since my last name is hail. it was a b-day present since she knew i am obssed with the twilight books. and u shouldn't care what everyone thinks.

well personally i like the name and i think its a cool idea if thats what u want but a better idea might be to make that her middle name because if thats her first name and she doesnt like the libros o doesnt want that pressure o somethiing like that she wont have to go through that

Well, I'd say have a go for it :)
She'd be your daughter and Renesmee does sound like a beautiful name, so why not?
I'd just say no if tu weren't single (I'm sorry but I wouldn't know any guy who'd want to name his kid after a character in the Twilight series--intentionally)

Plus, I was thinking of at least giving one of my children the name Renesmee as a middle name, so I will definitely say it's a good idea.

I think it is beautiful name but if I had a daughter I would've named her Esme. But there both beautiful.

i personally think that if tu wont to name your kid renesmee tu should just name her that. but than it wont be personal and she might not like it o the twilight books. but if i was tu i would prob do the same thing as bella and merge the two names of both the childs grandmothers so that its meaningfull and still twilighty (even though i know alot of people did it before twilight came along.)

Uhmmm,yes...until tu have a baby I am sure that tu have forgotten Twilight..Also your husband must agree with the desicion...Personally I don't like the name "Renesmee",it is too weird...But here in Greece,it is used to give your baby the name of his grandpa o grandma!So in any case I could name my baby Renesmee...I would like to name if it is a girl Andromache/Sara and if a boy Nikos...

Honestly, if tu want to name your kid after a character off of a bestselling series of cine and books....your entitled to that! tu should do what tu think is best and if anyone has a problem with that, it's just their stupid opinions. tu should just do what tu want and forget about what people want tu to do!
