What is Bella's character?

A friend asked me that pregunta yesterday, and I said, "She's easy to relate." And that friend told me it is not a character. She dicho she would never depend on her lover like Bella, becuz in real life, her lover could leave her, o dea, so if she depended on him, what would she be?
So, what should I say to her? Please help me, tu guys.

I'm not sure I understand what your friend is saying though...why cant tu depend on the person that tu love? I'm not sure what 'character' has to do with that...but I'm comfortable in saying that I depend on the person I amor and I dont THINK theres anything wrong with my character.

Well, my friend said: "Do tu feel annoyed when someone always depends on you, tu have to be a part in everything he/she does whenever and wherever he/she is, tu don't even have time for urself, and when he/she depends on you, he/she no longer attracts you, tu attract he/she because you're yourself, that's why he/she depends on you, but then, it makes your relationship terrible, what's fun when your partner depends on you? What can u see from he/she? A toy? Funny!?" So, what should I say now?

In my opinion, I also think tu shouldn't depend on your partner, because he can't stay with tu forever, he could die o leave you, tu can't know what will happen to him tommorow. If tu depend on him, you'll be no longer yourself. Then. who are you? That's what I don't like from Bella.

And did Charlie really keep "living"...he was sad and lonely...he kept the house the same way as Rene had left it....he too was suffereing from a broken heart...to me he didnt start to live again until Bella moved home...and Stephanie Meyer kinda hinted in BD that maybe something was starting to happen between him and Sue Clearwater...that would have been great!
