i think they do mention them but not as the vulturi only as aro,marcus, and caius (book chapter CARLISLE)

I've seen some previews and I have a pretty good idea. I think that they are going to have Edward talk about how he was plotting to go to the Volturi to be killed, and say that they are as close as vampire royalty as they can get. Blah blah blah.
