Chapter 11
Those days and those nights
I’ve never liked hospitals that much growing up, with my visions I’d have quite a handful por just stepping through the doors. Tradegies after tradigies. I know hospitals are good, and I respect them and all. But bad things tend to happen to something good, people die here everyday.
People are taken here to be tended for their injuiries because of a tragic event.
So far since I’ve woken up in this hospital visions and all kinds of things bombard me. Like when I closed for my eyes to rest, I was standing in the calle watching this poor kid get beaten up because he went for a different team.
Or a group of teenagers get hit por a bus because the bus driver was drunk. o something else horrible, and sometimes I’m the victim, I feel there pain and fear and what they went through. It’s draining.
I rub my eyes a couple of times, and try to relax. My emotions are on overdrive because of the stress and damage done to me lately. Plus, the doctors told me there going to keep me for three days, to check if there’s anything wrong.
Dad’s not happy about that, I could hear his shouting from the phone miles away. And mom? I don’t know, but something tells me she’s just as angry as dad. My parents are not the only ones, Jess, being the stubborn head girl that I love, refused to leave me side after she heard the news. It’s been at least two days, and I have one más left here, and during that time Jess managed to sneak in and skip school for the day.
But somehow her parents found out, and now she’s locked up in her room. Though her parents have visited me and gave me this laptop to communicate with Jess over an online face chatting thingy, I amor Jess’s parents, there way to cool.
Cadence visited me to, it wasn’t the least bit of awkward from yesterday, but we didn’t talk about it.
So far things are going fine, but soon it won’t be, we still have the fact that Dorothy indeed was a part of that gang, and that wasn’t the only prank they did. Her killer’s still out there, I can feel it, I just don’t know who and where they are. But the más visions of my sister’s life I get, the más I’m close to finding the answer.
I breathe deeply and try to think of a happy time, a time where nothing was wrong. I remember going through our family photos, it was a tradition of ours to go take a professional picture of the family. I’ve never thought it stupid, and it gave a reason for Dorothy to shop.
We’d always have a theme, sometimes we’d where matching outfits, and others we’d dress up in some short of a fashion, like one time we all where dressed up in those boarding school uniforms, and the other we were dressed approximately for the beach.
Those we always fun, it was the one time where things seemed peaceful between us. But then things started getting tense, mom and dad’s fighting became más frequent and heated, Dorothy started to distance away from all of us (which I assume is where she met those pranksters). The house started feeling más crowded, Dorothy was gone almost every night, returning in the middle of midnight, mom sometimes went to the bar, and dad volunteered for extra work.
And I was all alone.
Which I’ve been accustomed to get used to.

Which I’ve been accustomed to get used to.
Life can be hard. Especially for me, Lily West, your almost-average 16-year-old girl. Most people think it's weird I'm bald. Others think I'm going to die. Then there's the occasional person who tries to take pity upon me. I'd rather they not, because some say it like I'm a helpless little tortuga on its back. Sometimes I wish I die already, and sometimes I wish that I was a completely different person. Yes, it's tough having cancer. I just wish that they would respect me for a person instead of a helpless little bug.
I stood por you,
Ever so proudly,
In the darkness of war,
Never betraying you,
Always por your side.
I protected you,
Never let tu down when
Things got rough,
I stood por you
Through día and night,
Summer and winter.
Stand por me now,
Be my loyal friend,
Never falter when the Fuhrer
Shoots his nasty gaze down at you.
Be strong,
My faithful friend.
Be strong,
And protect me from the evils
Of the world.
Be strong,
Never falter,
And always have courage.
Go now, my faithful friend.
Run free.
Ever so proudly,
In the darkness of war,
Never betraying you,
Always por your side.
I protected you,
Never let tu down when
Things got rough,
I stood por you
Through día and night,
Summer and winter.
Stand por me now,
Be my loyal friend,
Never falter when the Fuhrer
Shoots his nasty gaze down at you.
Be strong,
My faithful friend.
Be strong,
And protect me from the evils
Of the world.
Be strong,
Never falter,
And always have courage.
Go now, my faithful friend.
Run free.
Like tu don't have another care
Fight till the end.
Fight till the end,
Cuz tu got all ya power.
Fight like a trooper.
You've got hope
You've got strength
You've got amor on ya side,
So fight now.
Just fight now.
Fight till the end,
You've got all these people
Rootin for ya,
Rootin for ya.
You'll win the fight,
You'll freakin survive,
And you'll be proud
Cuz tu fought till the end,
And won it,
And won it.
Fight till the end,
You'll win.
Everything inside ya
Is powerful.
So fight till the end.
Just fight till the end.
AND FIGHT IT!!!
