I sat in my room looking out at the snow falling gently onto the ground. All of my friends were excited because it meant a white navidad for tomorrow. However I couldn’t help but feel empty on the inside ever since our break up. I know tu still have that old red scarf I used to wear but now the thought of the times I wore it makes me feel sadden. I sometimes wish we could start everything over again but I know all too well tu would break me like a promise like all the times tu have done before. The amor we had was so beautiful but had such a tragic ending. Why did it all have to wash down the drain so quickly? I guess it’s one of the few things I’ll never know why this even happened at all. Now that’s navidad Eve the only thing I can think of is watching all my friends so happy underneath the mistletoe. However I will just be a part of the background sipping on my hot chocolate por the fuego alone. I know all too well this is your fault that my corazón lays shattered on the white blanket outside. The reason is two years hace this very día my friends tried to warn me tu were trouble but my corazón didn’t listen to anything they dicho about you; however, I was too stupid because one año hace tu cheated on me with that red head. I hope tu are happy with her because I can never forgive tu because that was the segundo time tu did this to me, so this is why from now on I will never give anyone a segundo chance. Lately when tu have called I just ignore tu because I knowyou’d treat me like a promise tu didn’t keep. I know tu remember every little detail all too well because tu are like the tornado that wrecks a town because tu wrecked my heart. Ever since last navidad when I try to myself it’s okay, but when we met again on that little town street on Valentine’s día I almost let myself fall for tu again but I reminded myself I deserve better than you. Because I knew I could never trust tu again after I saw tu besar someone else underneath the mistletoe a año ago. Now after I was paralyzed por the sight of you I have been fighting to be my old self again but I cannot because I’m still trying to find it and I remember all too well.
