damon and elena
"Mom!" I yelled from the couch. "What's today's date?"
"December 13th." She yelled back from the kitchen.
I typed the fecha at the parte superior, arriba of my European History report.
"Done." I whispered and the door bella rang. "I got it!" I pushed my glasses ontop of my head and ran to the door. It rang again. "I'm coming! I'm here!" And I pulled the door open.
"Happy 16th Birthday."
"Uncle Stefan!" I threw my arms around his neck. "What are tu doing here?" I stepped back in as he followed.
"Don't I always come for you're birthday?"
"My birthday is siguiente week." I closed the door and followed him to the living room. " Yes, and I won't be able to make it then. Where is everyone?"
I plopped back down infront of my laptop. "Mom is in the cocina and-"
"I am right here." Dad walked down the stairs and into the living room. "Little brother!" Uncle Stephan stood and gave Dad a hug.
"Damon. tu look exactly like tu did a año ago."
"So do you. Killed anybody improtent lately? Done anything exciting in your life? And no, slipping on ice doesn't count."
"Your very funny. Actually I just got back from Italy. I'm going to Rome in a few days so I stopped por for Alexa's birthday a little early."
"Stefan?" Mom rounded the corner with two drinks, handing one to Dad. "You're early this year." She kissed one of his cheeks and a one arm hug.
"Hello Elena. Well like I told Damon and Alexa, I'm leaving in a few day's for Rome so I stopped por early. I hope tu don't mind."
"No. Of course not." She wound one arm around Dad's-Damon-waist, and stood siguiente to him.
"Alexa. I got tu something a little más special this year. Everyone else in the Salvatore family has one but you. Your hand?"
"Which one?" I laughed and handed him my right hand.
"Close your eyes."
I looked at him questionably but did as he asked.
I felt a small band slide onto my index finger.
"Okay."
I opened my eyes and stared down at the intricate silver ring that wrapped around my finger. A vine wrapped around the blue stone in the center with little tiny pearls.
"That stone is a lapiz lazuli. It's the stone in mine, Damon's and your mother's ring."
"Uncle Stefan. It's beautiful. Thank you." I stood up and gave him a hug.
"Go get cleaned up. cena tonight is at 7 insted of 8." Mom walked over, grabbing my laptop and handing it to me. "Go ahead and print your paper out too."
"Paper on what?" Dad asked as I walked past him.
"European History, Dad!" I yelled to him over the banaster and went into my room.
Elena
"Mom!" Alexa called from the living room. "What's today's date?"
"December 13th!" I yelled back to her.
Alexa looked alot like Damon. Her eyes were the same crystal blue/green. Her hair was just as dark as his pinstraight and to the middle of her back. She, just as I was, was the IT girl at her school. The girl every other girl wanted to be and every guy wanted to date. Her best friends were Sarah, Bonnie's daughter, and Marie, Caroline's daughter. She was also dating the qauter back of her school's football team, Karson Andrews.
She had all A's and never missed a día of school o work. She was the perfect daughter. Especially someone who shared the same DNA as Damon Salavtor. I laughed to myself at my own pittyful joke.
The doorbell broke my train of thoughts.
"I got it!" Alexa yelled. It rang a few más times. "I'm comming!" She also had Damon's temper.
"Uncle Stefan!"
Uncle Stefan? What was Stefan doing here?
"Don't I always come for your birthday?" Alexa's birthday wasn't untill siguiente week.

Stefan stood do give him a quick hug. "Damon. tu look exactly like tu did a año ago."
"So do you." Damon told him. "Killed anybody improtent lately? Done anything exciting in your life? And no, slipping on ice doesn't count." Smart ass. I laughed to myself as I poured Damon and I a drink.

"No, of course not." I wrapped one arm around Damon and he placed a hand on the small of my back.
"Alexa." He turned his attention back to her. "I got tu something a little más special this year. Everyone else in the Salvatore family has one but you. Your hand?"
"Which one?" She joked and held out her right hand.

She gave him a funny looked then did as he suggested.
He took a ring out of his pocket and put it on her middle finger of her right hand. Just like Damon's was. I knew what it was. It was a lapiz lazuli.
"Okay." he told her and she opened her eyes examining her new possesion. She wouldn't take the ring off. I was sure of it.
"That stone is a lapiz lazuli. It's the stone in mine, Damon's and your mother's ring."
"Uncle Stefan, it's beautiful. Thank you." She stood up to give him a hug.

"What paper?" Damon asked as she walked by.
She was already up the stairs and hanging over the banaster. "European History, Dad." She called down to him then dissapeard into her room closing the door.
"There is vervain in the pearls on her ring." Damon's temples flared and his jaw was locked together.
"Yes." Stefan put his hands in his pockets.
"Why?" Damon walked to stand cruzar, cruz armed infront of him
"Another reason I came early."
I walked up behind Damon, the left side of my body hid.
Stefan looked at me then back to Damon. "We're not the only vampire's in Mystic Falls anymore."
Alexa's ring
She bent on her knees and her hands glided over the earth. She didn’t know what she was going to find, but a strong feeling inside of her told her there was something underneath the earth. Something she needed to find.
And so she started digging with her hands. Soon her hands were wounded and dirty, but she just kept digging.
She carried on for what seemed like hours, her hands bleeding, until her fingers touched something solid. She dug faster and más fiercely, until she saw the object. When she saw Damon’s body she couldn’t breathe anymore. She covered her mouth and tears rolled over her face. She was too late.
She pulled him out of the pit and held him in her arms.
