Stefan was stepping up and being the bigger person.

May I just say how I HATE that all of your posts are anti-Stefan? You're so mean to him. =/ I don't think I've seen anything you've said or done yet that hasn't been in some way bashing his character. This spot shouldn't be about hating on a character =/

This "Saint Stefan" thing is getting old. Elijah offered his help and you want him to not immediately step in and apologize? If he had taken a moment you'd be like "why didn't he say anything right away? doesn't he want to save Elena?"

@BONES45: Have you thought that Stefan spoke up so fast was, about getting Elijah on side so that they can protect Elena. You seem to forget that Stefan is willing to do anything for Elena, just to keep her safe. Stefan's comment to Elijah about Damon being mad with him, has to do with again, Stefan probably putting the blame on himself, because Damon DIDN'T apologise, because look how they where fighting just before Elena and Elijah came. Again, I think Stefan is putting this on his shoulders, so Elena can be protected. Damon Walked away and DIDN'T APOLOGISE and I thought he cared enough about her to protect her. Damon contradicts himself and would rather be stubborn than apologise, because Stefan told him a few home truths. Damon aggrivates Stefan the majority of the time, so why does Stefan have to take it.

i dont cause he knows that they need Elijah and also he promised to do it elenas way so that is what he is doing. damon promised 2, and i love him, but in the last episode i was really sick of him by the first ten minutes. yes, he loves elena, but he also promised to do it her way. him storming off in the end? that showed that he was going with his opinion that elijah couldnt be trusteted, but stefan made sure to keep his promise to elena. do i think that stefan trusts elijah? NO! but he told elena that he would do it her way, thats what she wanted, so he did it.
Now Damon is epic and funny and hot. thats y tons of people are Delena(In my opinion). but by storming off, he broke his promise of doing what elena wanted. do i feel bad for him? duh he is going through a rough time. but does that excuse him from doing everything he can to protect elena? No.

HE totally was. That's completely immature. I bet he was lying to himself. In the beginning of the ep he was completely against it but OF COURSEE he's going to follow Elena's orders JUST so she wont be mad at him. Like Damon said (paraphrasing) "She can even hate me for it... I'll be the one to keep her alive". Wat if stefan let her go hang with Elijah but he decided to kidnap her and torture her?? Stefan would feel completely stupid.

@StarrieNites: Elena already went off with Elijah, without the brothers knowing. What could they have done anyway, especially when Elena hung up the phone on Stefan. Stefan decided to trust Elena off his own accord, but it was Damon she told, to do things her way, not Stefan. There is no point saying what if, because, Elijah, didn't kidnap her and torture her, but then I could say that when Damon decided to go rogue, what if he made the situation worse, because at the end of the day, Katherine is only out for number one. She said so herself. I suppose we can see how that one plays out in the upcoming episodes.

Stefan didn't even need to take a breath to apologise, because protecting Elena is top priority for him. Damon not apologising left me a little upset with him and maybe he might have had a right to, because he might not trust Elijah, but to me, Damon just acted juvenile and petty, just because of his little bust up with Stefan.
