Jim is a sweetheart and while he may have been super excited about getting back to Scranton to ask out Pam, he would have had the decency to tell Karen that he wanted to give him and Pam a chance. She probably told him to go back without her. However, I think she'll be back because Karen's not the type to just quit her job just because she broke up with her boyfriend. She'll be around for awhile, I think.

It does look like he just ditched her. And considering what happened with Katie, he isn't nearly as considerate as people give him credit for. I always kinda thought he was just one step away from abandoning a girlfriend without notice and leaving her for Pam.

i think it would be an interest twist if karen dumped jim though,
coz then if pam found out, she might be a bit more skeptical, and it may put strain on their relationship,
