During the show’s Comic-Con panel (moderated por this writer) in San Diego, it was announced that former Lost, V, and Once Upon a Time estrella Elizabeth Mitchell would be joining the cast in a recurring role for season 3.

Syfy’s The Expanse is that rare science fiction mostrar that fires on all cylinders: character, story, setting, and message. And its segundo season, which premieres tonight, is even better than its first.

But with a solid cast, near-future speculative setting and a fantastic book series, no one comes close to achieving the level of sci-fi greatness on televisión of Syfy’s The Expanse.

This year, The Expanse not only kicks off with a bang, it’s quickly cemented itself as the most important science fiction mostrar airing on televisión right now. We’ve seen the first four episodes, and they’re amazing.

Problem is that The Expanse is such a wonderfully realised, affectingly believable, deceptively smart, and really damn engrossing mostrar that it’s far too easy to forget that you’re watching a piece of speculative fiction.

The Expanse may be set two centuries into the future, but its issues – political, socioeconomic, o environmental – hit much closer to home.
