Its all over
“Duncan run!” I yelled at him. “Heck no, Gwen! I’m staying here!” I was seriously ticked off. My dad comes bounding into a room threatening to kill me, and he doesn’t run. “Fine then Dad” I began. Duncan gave me a look, but I continued, “You won’t have too, because I… WIL!” I grabbed my art scissors and aimed for my stomach. Duncan saw what I was doing, and when he lunged to stop me, my dad lunged to stop him. When my dad was on the ground I made my move. I reached over his back and stabbed. My dad went limp. I began to cry, when Duncan came over and hugged me. “My God, Gwenny! Why are tu crying?” I laid my head on his shoulder. “I… am…a…murderer!” He looked at me like I just dicho I am a large, overweight ogre.
“Never say that again.”
“Why?”
“He was hurting you.”
“I don’t care!”
“Well I do!”
“Why?” At this point it was yelling. “Because I amor you!” He yelled back. Then he opened his eyes wide, like he just realized what he said. “I umm I mean uhh” I grinned and said, “Will tu just shut up and kiss me; we got to get out of here.” He smiled back and kissed me
About an hora later I was at the police headquarters with Duncan, being questioned. “Now Miss Gwen, I can’t exactly take your word for it.” I showed him the scar than ran up my shoulder from the time my dad cut really deep with his knife. “Alright then, tu are free to go.” I smiled at first, but then realized I would have to go in the foster care system. “Duncan, I will have to go into the foster care system.” I said. He was just really cool about it and began to walk me to his house. When we got about a block away, Duncan covered my eyes. When he uncovered them, my eyeballs basically exploded. “You LIVE here?” I asked, still in shock. “Actually this is were my whole family lives.” I gave him a confused look. “Cousins, grandparents, the works.” I looked back at the white mansion. “Dios Mio!” I dicho finally. “Since when did tu become Alejandro?” He replied. Alejandro was one of our classmates, but that’s another story. “And now tu live here too, if tu want.” I looked at him. I felt a huge wave of emotions come over me. Mostly relief. “Ok, but…” He looked at me and nodded. “I get my own room!” I finished. He laughed and took me into his big and huge mansion. “Family, this is my girlfriend and our new family member, Gwen!” Everyone smiled at me. I finally felt at home…
