Xiem lays in bed, wondering what just happened. One moment, she's dreaming about sweets, than the siguiente she's being jostled por a huge explosion. What was that?
For an hora she lay in bed, debating if she should go check it out, o stay in cama and wonder all night.
She hugged her teddy bear, of which she knew she was to old for, and sat there.
Finally, the debate ended. She got up and listened for her parents o brothers. Nothing.
She carefully tip-toed down the stairs, grabbed a flash light, and ran as soon as she got out the door.
She ran as fast as she could through the dark night, toward the spot the sound came from. She was curious, but scared. She had no idea what to expect.
It could be aliens, o some sort a government secret.
But even though she was covered in fear, her curiosity got the best of her. She continued to tramp on through the night, tripping over logs and rocks she couldn't see.
Finally she reached the spot, trembling in her boots. Well, they were not boots, they were flip flops she slipped on at the last minute, but tu know what I mean.
She got down an all fours, and crawled to the trench.
She saw something she thought she would never see..
"An actual UFO!" She thought. Of course, it wasn't really a UFO, it was spaceship though. A crashed spaceship.
She soon realized this, and carefully slid down the side of the trench, staying alert for something to crawl out of the wreck.
She slowly walked to the crash, and saw something...A hand.
"What in the?" She dicho to herself.
She crouched down and , very slowly, reached out and touched it.
Nothing. She did it again, but still no reaction.
She laid down on the ground to peek between a small crack between to big pieces of metal. She saw what she needed to and could tell she has to get to work, fast. She saw two young gatos in there! Both badly injured. She got up, placed the flashlight so it would shine where she was working, and started moving the pieces of metal as fast as she could. She had to work quickly, o she would be going to a funeral soon.
She dug, dug, and dug.
Eventually, she got to the gatos within the wreck, but went blank.
She never had to deal with dead bodies before.....considering they were dead.
She just dragged the gatos out, and tried to see if they were living o not.
She felt the girl's pulse, than the boy's pulse.
"Oh, no" She said.
