Does Sonaze count as a 'crack pairing'?

Personally, I don't think Sonaze counts as a 'crack pairing', but I really don't know what it actually is...

I myself don't support it, but no, it is not a crack pairing.

Cracked Ship - A ship that would be unlikely to become canonically true because of many fictional barriers between the characters - From Wikipedia

Silvaze is far más of a crack pairing than Sonaze. Sonic 2006 being erased from canon and Blaze's backstory in the Sonic Rush series being confirmed as canon utterly destroyed any relationship between Silver and Blaze. Now if only SEGA would honor their statements and stop putting these two together in games...

Sonaze is everything a crack pairing is not. It has two games' worth of a story backing it up (and a small scene in another), is a genuinely interesting and plausible pairing considering the relationship between the elements of wind and fuego and the dialogue in the Sonic Rush games explaining the relationship between the Chaos and Sol Emeralds, and, if pulled off well, can work to benefit and enhance both characters and their personalities as their partnership in the Rush games did, unlike Silvaze, where Silver seems to be the only beneficiary, as in the scenes where the two appear together, Silver is almost always dominant and just seems to make Blaze seem lame.
