omg! i have the biggest fear ever canto in front of people? i dont know what to do because i want to become a singer:L

okay, well i sung to people all my life till i was in school choirs and stuff i played mary and sung solos when i was in eyar 6 but about half way through y7 i sung in front of a large audience and i was really bad and i have hated canto in front of people since! i have a canto teacher too make me a little más confident but i cant even sing infront of her i have no confidence at all! i am so shy when it comes to a stage, i want to do dancing and canto but im too shy so i keep quiet about everything but i really need to get over this fear!

I know exactly how tu feel. I play the paino and I have EXTREME STAGE FRIGHT, and I just blank out and freeze if I have to play in front of even only one person. I know its pretty bad, but after a while tu start to branch out. Have confidence and just pretend that tu are all alone. Just let everything melt away and do your thing. Say like in a duet o quartet.
It's really easy like that because tu know if tu mess up, no one will really notice. Plus tu have that support :)
