^Interesting, thanks. Yeah I've never actually met an American who went to a single-sex high school lol. Whereas the vast majority of my primary school friends went to the local Catholic girl's school

This. I was so miserable, I was around prettier, more confident girls every day and none of the boys paid any attention to me.

Unfortunately... I would have loved to go to an all girls school and get away from the crazy boys.

I see no point in single sex. If people just stopped paying attention to differences between sexes and taught genders from an early age to respect one another as equals, wr have no need for gender separation.
