It's really, really sad, because I've seen amazing performances from both of these actors. But God, Eddie (who won a WELL-DESERVED Oscar for Best Actor for The Theory of Everything) very well may be in the top 5 worst acting performances of the decade (not that Dornan was any better... his performance was cringeworthy as well).

It was bad but he was also pretty over the top. His performance in Jupiter Ascending, reminds me of Jeremy Irons' performance in Dungeons and Dragons.

Both were really bad performances and I don't blame the actors for their acting abilities, I blame them for choosing to play such badly written characters. Although Jupiter Ascending did have potential to be really good, Jamie should've known better than to be in Fifty Shades of Grey, it's so awful that when it was just a Twilight fanfiction that it was taken down because it was considered too inappropriate. Yeah, it made Twilight of all things look innocent, pure, and clean. I think with these two, while they do deserve Razzies for these performances because the acting was bad but it wasn't so much their fault, more the way the characters are written. I mean, I think Kristen Stewart is a good actress in my opinion because she has talent, she just unfortunately is bad at picking characters to play that are decently written. I mean, if even someone like Jennifer Lawrence (who auditioned for Bella Swan) had played Bella Swan, it still would've been a horrible performance because even the most talented actors in the world can only do so much with how horribly written a character is and even how bad the directing is. I mean, I haven't seen Eddie in anything else but I'm sure that he's talented based off everything I've heard about him. I've only seen Jamie as Graham on Once Upon A Time and he's great there. There are plenty of actors that are talented that unfortunately get into bad roles where they give bad acting; Nicola Peltz in The Last Airbender, Dev Patel in The Last Airbender, Noah Ringer in The Last Airbender, Kristen Stewart in Twilight, Will Smith and Jaden Smith in After Earth, Lindsay Lohan in Liz and Dick (though I blame this more on how hammy and over-the-top Elizabeth Taylor is but it's a bit extreme), Arnold Schwarzenegger in Batman and Robin, Mike Myers in The Cat In The Hat, George Clooney in Batman and Robin, and MANY more!

Jupiter Ascending was just awful, which is upsetting because Eddie Redmayne is a much better actor than this.
Not that I imagine 50 shades of Gray(Grey? Damn regional spelling differences!) is much better, but I've not seen it to tell.
