As the snow falls
Mirrored through the halls
I build up my walls
Layer por layer, brick por brick
I've never built walls this thick
And then I hear your calls
And those once invulnerable walls
Fall like a house of sticks
As the snow falls
My thoughts begin
o perhaps it was just the wind
Howling ever so graceful
I just want to see your face, I pull
the shade down, it flies up again
And here I stand por the moonlight dim
Staring blankly at the stars so full
As the snow falls
Each estrella tells a story
Some of failure, some of glory
I wonder which estrella tu possess
I wonder if this is just a test
Possibly one I'll fail poorly
Possibly no happy ending to this story
As I walk to my cama to rest
As the snow falls
An answer is all I seek
My powers begin to grow weak
My walls I must construct
I will not self-destruct
Suddenly light through the sky leaks
I run to the window to take a peek
And what I see leaves me awestruck
As the snow falls
Sun breaks through the barrier of clouds
It's glorious rays engulfing the ground
Maybe there is hope for me
Clouds scatter and life comes to the trees
With birds chirping their glorious sounds
I can only smile as I look around
I feel some power relight inside me
As the snow melts away
Mirrored through the halls
I build up my walls
Layer por layer, brick por brick
I've never built walls this thick
And then I hear your calls
And those once invulnerable walls
Fall like a house of sticks

As the snow melts away
Take this kiss upon the brow !
And, in parting from tu now,
Thus much let me avow
tu are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream,
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, o in a day,
In a vision, o in none,
Is it therefore the less gone ?
All that we see o seem
Is but a dream within a dream.
I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand
How few ! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep while I weep!
O God ! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp ?
O God ! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave ?
Is all that we see o seem
But a dream within a dream ?
true friends are hard to come by...
yet when tu catch them tu feel like tu can fly...
tu trust them,
amor them,
and talk of future...
tu know that they will never lie...
and siguiente to them tu stand side por side...
tu amor them,
hug them,
and share smiles with eachother...
oh how it feels when tu know your important...
that tu know tu have some one to comfort you...
tu hold their hand,
skip down the street,
and feel no defeat...
true friends are hard to come by...
but hold them tight so away they dont fly.

One night I dreamed I was wlking along the playa with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there where two sets of footprints, other times there were only one set of footprints. This was bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow o defeat, I could see only one set of footprints. So I dicho to the Lord, "You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, tu would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life ther had only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed tu most, tu have not been there for me?" The Lord replied, "The times when tu have seen only one set of footprints in the sand, is when I carried you.

From childhood's hora I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same fuente I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My corazón to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
Then- in my childhood, in the dawn
Of a most stormy life- was drawn
From every depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, o the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that round me rolled
In its autumn tint of gold,
From the lightning in the sky
As it passed me flying by,
From the thunder and the storm,
And the nube that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.
"What of the dews of dawn,
Love's flower, what end is theirs ?"
"And what of spirits flown,
The souls whereon doth close
The tomb's mouth unawares ?"
The Rose dicho to the Grave.
The Rose said, "In the shade
From the dawn's tears is made
A perfume faint and strange,
Amber and honey sweet."
"And all the spirits fleet
Do suffer a sky-change,
más strangely than the dew,
To God's own ángeles new,"
The Grave dicho to the Rose.
