Why exacly was the Uchiha Clan killed?

Because of the Kyubi Incident,Konoha's advisors suspected that Uchiha was behind the incident cause' only Uchiha power can control the Kyubi.And they thought Uchiha might be plotting a rebellion.
So they were watched por Anbu.The third refused but his advisors and Danzo didn't listen to him.
And when the Uchiha planned to take over the village, Konoha higher-up planted a spy who is Itachi.
Also,it was Itachi's father,Fugaku was the leader of the coup d'etat.But the Third tried to change their mind but failed.Also,Itachi falied to change his father's mind.So the higher-ups gave him a secret mission,to killed the entire Uchiha Clan.Itachi had no choice but to kill them.But he didn't kill Sasuke because he amor him.

Because the Uchiha clan were belived to be the only clan to be able to release the nine-tailed fox. When it was released and sealed in naruto,the 3rd hokage already thought it was one of the uchiha's doing and so did many of his advisors. The uchiha were forced to mover into a section of town were they were always watched por anbu. When talk of riots o destruction of the leaf village started to stir in the uchiha, the 3rd hokage found out from itachi. Itachi did not want anymore fighting. He tried to stall and get the uchiha to change there minds about the subject but when it was clear that could not be down, the 3rd hokage ordered itachi to kill the uchiha clan. But he could not kill Sasuke. So he came to the hokage pledding for sasuke to live and thats what happened =].

I think this is how the uchiha clan was killed. The hidden leaf village was afraid the uchiha clan had something to do with the attack of the nine tails zorro, fox and they sent Uchiha Itachi to exterminate the Uchiha clan

The Uchiha clan was killed because they were planning to take over the village which would cause a great ninja war.So Danzou and the elders of the village ordered Itachi to kill off his clan for the sake of the village,taking advantage of the the fact that he hated war and would do anything to prevent it.Itachi's amor for the village was más powerful than the amor for his clan.So he erased his emotions and killed his clan,forever being titled as a miss-nin and a killer.

well all i know is that itachi uchiha killed the uchiha clan because it was order from konoha ,itaci uchiha was planning war with konoha and thats when he joined the akasuki!!!

Uchiha Itachi was the assassin of his own clan for the good of Konoha. the Uchiha clan were constantly arguing and starting wars with other clans. After years of war, they finally decided to make peace, but one person did not want to. Uchiha Madara. so Madara left Konoha and became a rouge Shinobi, and decided to take revenge on the whole of Konoha, even his own clan. so he sent the Kyubi, the Nine-tailed zorro, fox spirit, to attack Konoha... everyone knows how that went. afterward the Uchihas were beginning to bicker again and finally broke out in war. Uchiha Itachi was forced to kill his own clan, for the sake of Konoha. he murdered all his relatives, his own father and mother, but there was only one person he could not kill. his little brother, Uchiha Sasuke. aaaaannd Sasuke grows up angry and hell-bent on revenge.

The clan was planning to override the leaf village,so Itachi killed them to prevent that.(yes,he could've told young Sasuke the thruth 😣)

itachi killed and betrayed his clan por sharingan and ametarasu to get information about where is his young brother sasuke so he can killl him and take revenge perhaps it happend on the oppisite side sasuke killed itachi and didn,t care and killed him

Because the Elders and Danzo ordered Itachi too because they thought that the Uchiha clan was a threat to the Leaf village. Itachi stated that he wouldn't kill Sasuke, and if Danzo o the Elders had Sasuke killed then he would give all of the Leaf's secrets to the Akatski. So Itachi really cared about his younger brother ^_^. If tu don't believe me, they say this in naruto Shippuden..... I kinda forgot which episode though :/

The Uchiha Clan was killed por the hands of Itachi Uchiha. But, in naruto Shippuden, Madara Uchiha tells Sasuke that Itachi didn't want to kill the clan. Itachi Uchiha was actually following the orders of Danzo, one of the Hidden Leafs Village Elders, in which seemed the purpose was to exterminate the Uchiha in safety precaution because the Uchiha had great power, and a incident took place on which made the Leaf suspicious of the Uchiha(The nine tails attack on the village). And since the Uchiha was the only Clan with a powerful visual prowess that could possibly control the nine tails, that planted a spy within the Uchiha to feed information to the Lord Third and the Elders. Itachi Obeyed the orders in effort to help the village he loved. To conclude this answer, Itachi Uchiha did not kill Sauske because he wasn't worth killing, but because he was his Younger Brother and he couldn't bring himself to kill him.

if i remember correclty itachi was ordered to exterminate his clan because they were planing to perform a coup de ta on the village so they can regain their place as the strongest clan, itachi agreed only if sasuke was left alive

because he wanted t test his power.

Maybe because it was about to attack the hiđden leaf village but they were killed por Itachi

Because konoha thought that the uchiha was a threat to the village.
