So your best friend likes the same guy well i say tu just tell her what's going on and tell her where tu stand. Just tell her that if he (the guy) ever asks one of tu out tu have to respect her that tu will fight for him and not afraid to get ugly. But not ugly enough to ruin your friendship but just enough to mostrar him your and american BADASS and your not afraid to get dirty if tu have to. Just tell her that if he asked her out you'd be happy for her even though tu wouldn't. Also tell her that if he asked tu out of course you'd say yes but you'd want her to be happy for tu too! Even if it does kill tu a little on the inside.

Since tu don't like him in that way, my consejos would be to set him straight. Just explain that tu still want to be friends, but nothing more. tu don't see him in that way.
