danimiller Yes but "talent" is an abstract noun. No one has "talent" for a fact. It is all matter of opinion. Like i think Justin bieber is one if the most talented people ever although i know some people think he is the least. So it would be hard to fight back with "justins talented because i think so." However, One thing justin does hold is his personality. Regardless of whatever the pap and media say about him, He has not let talent go to his head. He is really charming and i bet almost everybody tht could meet him would like him. Although the term "haters" is stupid, i do think tht this term is a part of society tht everybody uses for basically everything. It might take long to change tht. And also,someone as big as justin usually isnt what is hated. It is usually the frenzy or "overatedness" surronded with him

I agree with you that the word 'talent' isn't really the greatest term to grade someone's performance on something - its all subjective. And I also agree that one of the more solidifying things that have caused people to be drawn to Justin is his personality. Unlike talent, which is subjective, personality is something that is a little bit more concrete. I do slightly disagree with you that the term "haters" is a term that, as you say, " this term is a part of society tht everybody uses for basically everything." I think that this term is predominately stuck in teen-tween culture and that it doesn't make sense for 'hater' to be applied to EVERY situation. For example, I don't like mustard, in fact I detest it. Would it make sense for you (for sake of argument) who likes mustard to say to me"HATER!" And I don't think that 'everyone uses [it]'...I don't hear my grandparents saying it nor my parents...and I don't for that matter (except when I use it sarcastically). And yes, it would take a while for that word to die out...its just a fad if anything. I mean, look at the 70's where "totally groovy" and "that's whack, jack" were the common phrases. By the way - "Everything" in a debate is a dangerous word...it assumes that everyone in the entire world uses the word 'hater' in context of defending a band/book/whatever. Thanks for the reply! AKandhai Ok did you just post this article in response for my comment? Because I meant that for ACTUAL haters. For example, people who say he is ugly or he can not sing or that he is gay (gay means happy so that could be something people can use to outsmart you if you say that. So anyways I just put that out there for people like that not, people that say stuff like that. Plus it makes no sense to say stuff like tht he sucks because he is composing all of his song to entertain us. But how do we pay them back for that? We dont do we? Instead of being a "hater" we should be grateful to him for entertaing us when we are bored out of our minds.
