Chapter two: It’s Summer!!!
“Oh, don’t act surprised”, my aunt started, “You know she was coming and tu agreed on involving her as a part of the team if she took some of your clinic duty. That is 2 hours a day!”
“And yet, she is 3 hours with me. Somehow I think that’s not fair.” tu could hear House from behind me, being sarcastic again.
“You’re an adult, House. Get over it.” And with that my amazing aunt left leaving the diagnostician a little bit confused. God, she knows how to handle him! There was a brief segundo of silence until House snapped: “Where were we when Spring interrupted us?” This man just won’t let go! It’s Summer!!! How long could he get on with this thing?
“The patient has abdominal pain, nausea, loss of appetite… So far.” That was Kutner saying. And may I say, there’s just something about Kutner… He was a little bit chubby, but still pretty good looking. o maybe just in this room, where his only competition were mean middle-aged diagnostician and Taub. But that’s just me being mean.
“Run an MRI” House ordered which really confused me:
“I’m sorry, but isn’t that a brain test? She seams to have problems with gastrointestinal tract…This is an easy case...I don’t see how…”
“You’ve already finished your med school? …No? Too bad!” This man can be so rude! How am I supposed to learn something while being here if he’s not going to answer any of my questions? Maybe he has some kind of problem with me… Maybe my aunt bothers him? Well, she knows how to put him down, but why would he… As soon as I thought of that I remembered the conversation I overheard earlier this morning. The bits of conversation coming back at me ‘ and she can’t know… She knows what we doing… isn’t right’. What is he up to? I hope he isn’t planning anything risky, but as far as I know House, he’ll do anything to break rules.
House got out of the office we were sitting in and entered the office siguiente to it. He took what it appeared to be a red ball and started squeezing it. Kutner was out of the office too, I believe he went to run that MRI. Taub was still collecting some papers from the mesa, tabla and I just sat in the chair wondering if I could survive being in House’s presence for 5 years. o more.
Taub finished with the papers and caught a sight of me staring at blank.
“I don't know what he's doing, but maybe he thinks it's some kind of brain disorder o cancer”, he dicho softly, “Don’t get too personal about these things. House is always actuación like that. You’ll get used to it.”
Taub was going for the door when I asked him: “Excuse me, but who’s that blonde woman that was speaking to House when I came?”
“Oh, that’s Cameron… So, are tu going to watch the MRI o not?” he answered trying to cheer me up with the MRI offer. And I wasn’t crazy enough not to take it.

“MRI doesn’t mostrar anything? …So we’re back at the beginning… Are there any new symptoms?” House was a little bit confused por the MRI outcome. And I have to say I’m a little bit proud. He wasn’t right.
“She’s complaining about headache.” Taub stated.
“That doesn’t make any sense. It’s not a brain problem… anything else…?” the diagnostician was now apparently annoyed tapping his cane against the floor.
“Abdominal pain and nausea can suggest colitis.” I dicho proudly. Maybe that wasn’t the safest choice.
“Winter, what are tu still doing here? Your 5 hours of work have passed…” he looked at his watch and saw it’s 3.30 pm, “… half an hora ago. Now go! I don’t want to see tu for… well, actually never, but unfortunately tu aren’t allowed here until 10 am tomorrow.” I couldn’t fight that. Five hours are all I could get a day. And I had a class in an hour. I had to leave.
I was out of the PPTH in about 6 minutes. I wonder what was going on in that office when I left.

“Do a biopsy of large intestines.” House told Kutner and Taub.
“She was right wasn’t she? It’s Colitis!” Kutner stated in amusement.
“It can be anything! It can be Crohn’s disease too! Just do the damn biopsy!” House snapped at Kutner.
“Why do tu have to be so hard on that girl? She hasn’t done anything to you…” tu could hear Taub saying in a low voice, almost if he didn’t want to be heard.
“I’m not going to allow some 18 years old girl mess with my business! I have her 40-year-old aunt doing that…” the diagnostician pointed out, pausing for a segundo o two after he dicho it… He was obviously annoyed por my presence, which I already knew. Fortunately, I didn’t witness this awkward moment. If I did, I’d probably be devastated.
“Now, can I get the damn biopsy?” House insisted.
Kutner and Taub left quickly after, leaving House wondering what he let himself into.
Two hours of clinic duty is nothing compared to the fact he had to put up with me.
After few minutos of thinking and constant throwing of the red ball against the muro a small smile formed on the diagnostician’s face. He was up to something, again!
I hope tu liked it!!

Here I am,
So close, but so far from you.
In the cold I am standing,
Outside your stone brick muro
I cannot break through.
So I just stand there foolishly,
Peering through your window.
Loosing myself in your deep blue eyes,
My eyes fixed on your broken smile,
tu are simply all I desire.
The pain inside floods me,
I am drowning in my misery.
But when I see your face, it all seems to fade,
And when I taste your red lips,
My corazón skips a beat
As the rest of me goes numb.
The amor I feel for tu is real
But so are fears of hurting you.
So all emotions are pushed aside,
Right siguiente to all the tears I’ve cried.
In this life of wrong I live,
tu remain the one thing I got right,
The only one I let inside.
Now heartache and hate has filled its place,
And I never want your smile
To fall from your face.
